Unfriendly to families! My daughter was charged 50 cents for a cup of water. When we refused to pay we were told to walk all way across the building to a badly working fountain. Lanes are ok at best. Every other table forced to sit very far from lanes. Will not ever come back.

I’ve been coming to Plano Super Bowl since I was in High School. It’s a great place to bowl! Decent music selection and good variety of food. Drinks are reasonably priced and also have a variety to choose from. On Sundays, they have a «Sunday Funday» special: $ 3 games, $ 3 shoes, and $ 3 PBRSs available after 6pm. Great deal! This place is open 24⁄7. If you’re looking for a CHEAP and fun place to bowl, I recommend checking this bowling alley out. This is your go-to place if you’re on a tight budget and aren’t looking for anything too fancy.

Been here a few times and each time I had a blast. They have tons of lanes, so I never had to wait long. I love that the place is a smoke-free environment. While this should be a standard at every bowling place, the way they organize the bowling balls is easy for you to locate the weight and size you need. Some of the other places I have been to, it’s just a bunch of shelves full of random unorganized bowling balls where you have to rummage through hoping to find the perfect one. Definitely will come back!

Absolutely terrible!!! They completely ruined my birthday! I came here so that kids could join me in my celebration and they left out very important details and tried charging me for games that I didn’t even play. I paid a $ 50 deposit and was told that was going to hold my lanes and kept getting told that it wasn’t and then got kicked out of my lanes for high schoolers! Will never come back and I used to love coming here.

I’ve bowled here since I was on my high school team and in a league throughout high school. There’s nothing fancy about it. It’s a bowling alley with a lot of lanes and a good, cheap place to bowl. Tuesday night is ladies night, so ladies bowl free after 8pm! And they’re open 24 hours!

Does not even deserve 1 star. My friend and I went Saturday night. There was an hour wait so we went to the bar. The bartender was very RUDE. She never gave us a name, but she was a young brunette with a nose ring and unfortunate skin. I was sitting at the bar and tried to get her attention 3 times when she snapped at me just wanted to know if they would call my name over the intercom. We sat and played the game at the bar with empty cocktails for OVER10 minutes. Again I started trying to get her attention by saying ma’am. And she snapped at me again and told me she was busy. I’ve Bartended for over 10 years. I get being busy, but don’t be rude. I watched her pour drinks as she poured half a shot in my drink. Again I’ve done this. I know a shot. I told her I would pay for a double so I could at least have some alcohol in my drink. She said well if you weren’t over there running your mouth. So. 1. I’m paying full price for ½ a shot? And you are aware??? 2. The only mouth running I did was ask my friend why she was being so rude. If she heard that then she had time to fix. I then spoke to a manager. He told me she is known for having a bad attitude but doesn’t want to get on to her. Lol. WHAT? You are a manager. She is a bartender at a bowling alley. C’mon people.

First time walking in this place was after I joined a league. I will say that I fell in love. I live in mesquite but make the trip here cause it beats any other alley near to my home. The food is good and the lanes just got a renovation which is a big plus.

Oh does this place bring back some memories! Great for families… it’s just a traditional olé bowling alley. I do prefer this route over the fancy pants ones that have been popping up lately. I don’t know about you but there’s just something about a bowling alley that just feels like it needs to be traditional! Anyway… good prices and easy parking. You’ll love it!

This place is open 24 hours a day. So one can bowl all day and night long. There are plenty of lanes here as well. It’s a large facility. One can tell the bowling alley has years of memories and maybe even several generations. It is the icons that have survived the tides of time. It’s one of those bowling alleys that has that old school character and charm. Just bowling and greasy reheated or fried food. Plano super bowl isn’t one of those places eat sushi and bowl(like some counterparts around town). You know I’m glad you can’t. It is great place to bowl.

I like this place because it has a bowling alley vibe. Smokey, rundown, very shady at night… Makes me feel like I am not in Plano for a moment. All of this contributes to a great experience with friends. Just be safe if you go late at night.

I go for the karaōke. Pretty laid back KJ. No sign-up slips, just verbally request it. Decent song selection. Acoustics aren’t great. I basically had to «swallow» the mic to be heard, and I typically have a powerful voice that carries. But this could be corrected by the KJ, maybe he just doesn’t know how. Food was better than usual, for a bowling alley. Good menu too for a dive bar. They do charge for soda refills. I don’t drink, but my fiancé said the bar wasn’t too pricey. Although he did mention that the bartender was slow as molasses.

This place is not hip or happening. It’s definitely just a family place at best and not a night out. It looks really old and basic. There’s no music! At the very least, I expected music! The crowd there is friendly enough. Strangers were high fiving us and celebrating our successes. That was cool. It’s open 24 hours and that’s good, too. Still, if there’s another place to go, try there!

Okay. So. it’s a BOWLINGALLEY. I realize that we now all think we are too cool for smelly shoes, entering in our own names for the score board, and thrusting our fingers into balls where thousands of others have also placed their unwashed digits. So if you are too cool for this now-nostalgic experience, stay away at all costs. Having just come from a way-too-crowded Main Event, my family literally balked when we drove up(without even going inside!). They commented on the seedy area and even my 14-year old brother sighed, «It’s next to a PAWNSHOP. Ew.». So even though I had called ahead to see if they had a wait(no wait!), my Dad wanted to «check it out» to make sure it was OK. Back to reality. Plano Super Bowl is a good ol’ bowling alley, exactly as you remember it. It comes with fighting for the perfect ball, dealing with drunk 30-somethings alongside the awkward teenage group dates, and the silly animations when you thow a strike or get a split. Rates are by the hour(I think $ 25) or by the game($ 4.25/person/game) so depending on how fast your group can bowl, one may be better than the other. My group of 5 got in one game plus 4 bowls into a second one. Shoe renting I think was $ 5 a person, too. The costs added up quickly. Luckily, beer was cheap! I got a pint of Shiner Bock for $ 3.50… a nice change from the $ 6 or $ 7 prices I’d been encountering at other places. The place is run by youngens, and things have obviously stayed the same for a long time… bathrooms could use some fixing up, and I guess things overall just seem old. But as long as you’re not expecting the snazzy new experience some places are offering, I think it’s OK. My family commented on the flat screens for scores, and my sister liked that it wasn’t smokey like some bowling alleys can be. For the record, I scored 142, crushing my family… next highest score was in the 90s. Booya.

I love bowling and any time there’s a social gathering for bowling, I’m there! Now, I’m not such a great bowler, but I still like to try and break 100 if I can: P Plano Super Bowl is a good drive out to the middle of nowhere, but it’s a great place for bowling. The prices are very reasonable and they have a small bar area where the billiards are and a small store to purchase bowling balls, gloves, etc. One complaint I’d have is the tables behind the bowling alleys. Whenever you are designated a number, your table is either the one at the front, or the one behind the front table. Now I don’t quite understand why anyone would want the lane with the 2nd table because it just makes it a hassle to walk around the front table — especially when there’s a large group and they have extra seats all around. It’s hard to make your way up to bowl. Also, people take your table without even knowing you’re designated a table so it just gets too messy and confusing — maybe they should think about making some changes. Other than that — I’d definitely come back to bowl. We even came here at 10pm Friday night and thought it was going to be packed. but only half the place was and it wasn’t soo loud and noisy. They got great deals starting at midnight — so for those of you who are night owls, come check this place out!
