I went to Car Toys to have them install an Autostart. Not only could Car Toys not get it to work, they left the wires in a mess. I went to Soundscape and they not only put in a better product that works, they also fixed the wiring mess left behind by Car Toys. The guys at Soundscape are very knowledgeable and professional. Nice to find people you can really trust!

I am thou royally impress with the service I have received so far from soundscape. They installed component speakers, an amp and dsp In my grand Cherokee. The quality of work and attention to detail is excellent. When I wasn’t completely satisfied with the sound, dan took as much time as needed to tweak my system to my liking and gave me an open invitation to return if I’m still not satisfied. Not many employees, much less owners, would provide this level of service. I highly recommend soundscape to anyone looking for an upgrade to their current car audio.

I had an Audison Bit Ten D installed in my car at another shop. I wasn’t impressed with the tuning. So I researched other Audison dealers in D/FW and found Soundscape. I drove an hour away to hear their demo car and was impressed. I returned the following week to have my Bit Ten D tuned and was not disappointed. So if you want it done right the first time Soundscape is the shop to visit.

One of the most professional Car Audio retailers I’ve ever been to. Dan is one of the best fabricators in the country. If you’re in the area and need some audio integration done on your vehicle. Soundscape should be you first and last stop.

Took daughters 2014 Kia in today for keyless entry and window tinting. Everyone was really nice and they did an awesome job. I would highly recommend.

I had my stereo system installed by another shop and that was a mistake. I took my car to Soundscape to have my wiring and install corrected while they were installing my new Bit processor. These guys always recommended a Bit processor in the past and I never purchased one. Now that I have listened to them and had one installed by the Tuning Wiz Greenwood, my system sounds INCREDIBLE! I definitely recommend Soundscape and their expert advise and workmanship!

Dan and his team at Soundscape did an excellent job replacing a factory radio in my Tacoma with an upgraded audio system. They were professional and charged a fair price. They know what they are doing and do a very clean install. Highly recommended.

The most intelligent group of audiophiles I’ve ever met. Took a botched installation from CarToys and redid it all. Looks and sounds 100% better. They offer very high end audio equipment imported from Europe, and their showroom is awesome. If you’re in the market for a high quality sound system, save yourself the time and hassle of working with a inferior company and go with these guys. My next car will definitely have a complete stereo system installed by them.

A couple months ago the CD head unit in my parents Acura TL failed. My folks are a bit older, and aren’t all up on the technology so I offered to take care of it for them. Since I had done a bunch of business over at Earmark I called and made an appointment to bring it in and get a Kenwood DNX6190 installed. Unfortunately when I showed up for the appointment, the guy(new crew) had forgotten about me, didn’t have anything ordered, and then jacked the price because of «all the extra work for the Acura». I called BS on that. I found Soundscape that afternoon, ran the car over and spoke with Dan. I explained my budget and what I wanted to get done. Dan worked very hard to find me the best deal so that we could bring the project in for what Mom & Dad could afford. He ordered up the parts and told me they would be ready to start first thing the next morning. Sure enough, when I showed up the next morning, Soundscape had the parts the car needed all stacked up on the counter. Dan reviewed the gameplan with me and then set to work. I left the car in their hands and came back in the afternoon. By the time I got back they were just wrapping up the installation. It looked very clean, very«factory». Putting a touch-screen navi unit into an older car that wasn’t equipped with that can be tricky, because you don’t want it to scream«aftermarket kit». I was very pleased with the quality of installation and the attention to detail. This is no show car, and it’s not a high-budget dream installation. This is a car for a retired couple. But these guys clearly cared just the same for this car as they do their real high end stuff. Dan then took some time to show me through the features. That was helpful since I was going to be responsible for«training» my parents on it. :) Overall, I would have to say that I am very happy with my experience, and will certainly check them first the next time I have a project.

I had a custom high end system installed in a 2013 vehicle and SoundScape did an outstanding job. To up the level of difficulty I had high standards going in. Asked them to enter the art and engineering domain to create completely custom component enclosures for the front, a precision folded horn subwoofer for the trunk, and Bit Ten processor tuning. When a first prototype was good but not perfect they offered to redo a design without additional labor costs. Totally professional and would highly recommend.

In August 2011, I had just purchased another car and was looking to move my system from my first car. I had 2 choices, Earmark Plano(which I had used for the previous 6 years) or Soundscape which I found out about through a post of Dan’s on a forum. I went to both stores with an open mind to get a quote on the work. Both prices were basically the same but Dan came off extremely more knowledgeable than the 2 people I spoke with at Earmark. His whole conversation with me was based on getting the best possible sound quality out of the equipment and not just simply installing it. Needless to say, I went with Soundscape. The fabrication done in my trunk is a beauty and the sound quality forces you to want to drive for hours. I have since went back in August 2012 to get tweeter pods done in my sail panels which are also beautiful and blend perfectly with my interior. Any questions I’ve had since the install have been answered and they have taken care of me very well post install. Dan, Devin, Steve & Greenwood are a good team. Every time I enter that store, they’ve learned something new to improve the sound quality of their installs. If you want a quality sound system, this is the place to go. They will not fail you.

I had them pull out my JL Audio Clean Sweep and replace it with an Audison bit 10 D. I had been talking to Dan for a while before making the drive from Irving out to McKinney to get this work done and he was nothing short of awesome. I appreciated the time he spent discussing what I was trying to do and the issues with the JL that I had in my Land Rover. Their work was great, no broken installs like a had with a previous car and Car Toys. The price they quoted even gave me an extra hour of sound tuning later on if I took it home and couldn’t quite figure it out on my own. Their rates are cheaper than Earmark and they are current on what’s going on out there regarding car audio. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Car Stereo installer that is excited about your sound as much as you are. Also, they sell Audison/Hertz, which is better than Focal. I should know as I’m having them replace my KRX2’s with Hertz 165 HSKs. UPDATE10⁄15: I copied over the above review that I posted on Google and wanted to add this tidbit for Unilocal.I just picked up my truck after replacing the Focals with the Hertz that are half the price and the sound is waaaay better. I know Focal makes quality speakers but for my taste, they are too in your face and the tweater lets in too much noise as it tries to play more mids to raise the soundstage. The Hertz are exactly what I am looking for since replacing my old MB Quart Qs. They much more balanced and still articulate with sound separation but not in your face to the degree of Focals. They are not as laid back as Morels but I consider them a perfect balance speaker… especially if you’re ready to detox from the Focal sound. I would like to also add the awesome customer service Dan provided. I called on Thursday morning with the abrupt availability on my schedule for Saturday and communicated that time preference since the following weeks I would be out of town. Dan not only overnighted the speakers since they just sold out but also came in on Saturday sick to take care of me because he knew I wasn’t going to be able to come back for a while. I felt bad after he finished the install and told me he wasn’t feeling well. That said, I’ll be heading back to buy a mobridge digital pre-amp next year when it comes out and Soundscape will be doing that work too. Thanks guys!
