Tried this truck for the first time at Vitruvian Park tonight and it was AMAZING! I ordered the Dynamite Roll and let me tell you, heaven. At first I was skeptical to order sushi from a truck, but it was super fresh and yummy! Can’t wait to have it again! I also ordered the Gyoza, which was pretty good as well, but honestly the sushi stole the show for me.

OMG! I just had the spicy edamame w/garlic & sea salt. It was DELISH! I asked for light spice which was plenty for me. Holy cow! Absolutely ruined me for any other edamame. 1st time at your truck and definitely won’t be the last. Yum!

I don’t even like sushi… wait, yeah I do. At least this place reminded of how good sushi can be. I’ve had a fallout with sushi rolls and would never choose them over sashimi unless that’s the option available to me. Which was the case. Unfortunate situations led to fortunate rediscovery in flavor and originality with sushi rolls. I would actually buy sushi rolls at this food truck. They only have four or five options and I’m pretty sure they’re all pretty good(I tried the fusion and dynamite rolls and particularly enjoyed them). So Spin Sushi, thanks for spinning over to Dallas and reintroducing rolls that weren’t lazy or boring to my taste buds.

The man in the truck was very nice. I like my sushi more on the raw, fresh flavors side and didn’t like that the salmon on top was cooked. I don’t remember seeing that it was cooked on the menu. Thats why i chose the roll i did because all the others are fried. The flavor was interesting, not bad necessarily, but not what I like. If you like fried rolls then you’ll probably love it, if you like raw and lighter flavors then it’s probably not for you.

This truck was at the Lunar New Year celebration hosted by the Crow Museum of Asian Art(how appropriate). Being weary of sushi from a truck, I went with the gyoza and they were great. They were the perfect combo of crispy and soft, and the sauce it came with was to die for. You get 6 for $ 6, which is okay, but could be a bit cheaper. Other than that, I think I am now willing to try sushi from a truck. It’s all about the ingredients anyway, right?

People have a weird perception of food coming from a truck, especially sushi. Well let me explain food trucks go above and beyond for the customer and taste quality. Spin Sushi meets all those requirements. I got the Pimp My Roll and the taste ladies and gentlemen is absolutely mouth watering, flavorful, explosive filled with awesomeness. Frank makes sure your taste buds go crazy and let me say mission accomplished. You have to check out this truck and the food!

Wow, incredibly fresh and reasonably priced. The sushi here rivals that which I’ve had from some of the finest(and most expensive) establishments in the West Coast… And it’s served out of a truck!!! I would highly recommend Spin Sushi to anyone craving authentic rolls infused with a savory blend of sauces that will get your taste buds spinning. Everything from the maki, to the fish and shrimp are prepared fresh daily by Chef Frank and his staff. Don’t forget to try the kim chi fried rice.

This man knows his sushi rice! I eat a lot of sushi and the novice is readily apparent by the rice flaking off as it moves from plate to mouth. Spin sushi are masters at rice composition and maki construction — combining different textures(creamy, crunchy, firm) in taste sensations that will spin you out of your foodie orbit.
