It was good and if the prices were lower it would be 4 – 5 stars. There are better breakfast options out there though.

I usually like this place but when they make you wait 15 minutes to order and then 30 minutes to get your food. And you say something and you get an excuse. It wasn’t that busy So not going thee anymore.

Great family owned business. Thoroughly enjoyed the Gyros and eggs breakfast! Can’t wait to go back to try their Rueben sandwich. Great food, good price! Skipped the wait and valet at trendy competition down the street and had a wonderful meal.

Awesome breakfast place. I’ve never been able to order fried eggs over medium anywhere until here. Tony knows how to properly cook medium eggs! Also the biscuits and potatoes were fantastic. My wife said her omelette was perfect as well. The service was very good, my coffee and water cup never went empty, that’s always a sign of attentive staff. Thanks, we’ll be back frequently now that we know about this neighborhood gem.

This is my very first time adding a review on Unilocal and I believe the food was great, it had quick and good service, and also very nice people.

Today in the morning was my first time at Tony’s. I have seen their ad in community impact newspaper and wanted to visit for a long time. I have ordered French toast and 1 thing from their special menu. The food was good and I liked the hole in the wall atmosphere of this place. We always look for a good breakfast place and Tony’s was not a disappointment. The only thing I thought prices would be a little lower considering their location.

First time visiting, ordered the Western omelette. First reaction was negative to the cheese singles they used on top and inside the omelette instead of shredded cheese. The potatoes were over cooked, some pieces to hard to chew. Coffee was watered down. Cups and coffee mugs looked old and yellow. Overpriced for the quality of food. Staff was nice.

We are always looking for a Sunday morning breakfast place. Tony’s is a bit out of our normal travel area from home but we have been to everything closer so it is time to expand our area. This is a perfect place for breakfast in my opinion. Located in a strip mall, it is a one off simple little café. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is good and reasonably priced. I would have given it a 5th star but I hated my English muffin. However, the pastrami omelette was excellent. My wife had the breakfast tacos and they were crazy big. We will certainly be back and now we want to check out their lunch!

Great food, service, clean, but way overpriced. $ 21 for my «scramble,» a kids meal and two soft drinks.

We chose Tony café because it was near our basketball tournament venue. Unfortunately, we should of read Unilocal before coming here. The positive, there was no wait time. Staff seemed cheerful. Place is quaint. The negatives, the restaurant smelled like a restroom. I don’t eat alot so I thought my husband and I would share an order of their $ 10 tacos especially since it’s ashame their $ 10. However, they charge $ 2.50 to share a plate. The bacon tacos came back and unfortunately were just overly stuffed with eggs over buttered potatoes and tiny 3 pieces of bacon. I tried asking the waitress to have more bacon added but she said it couldn’t be accommodated and proceeded to want to bring us a side of bacon for an additional $ 2.99. I wouldn’t recommend the pancakes because their syrup is in a bottle that looks to be here since this placed opened. Obviously we won’t be back.

I really wanted to like Tony’s Café – it is close to my house and I love a good casual breakfast spot– but it did not meet my expectations. First the good: the service is great, everyone who enters the restaurant is greeted with a friendly«Hello!» and seated right away. We were checked on throughout the meal by our server and the food runners. Drinks were topped off without having to ask. The décor reminds me of dining at my grandma’s kitchen table and I don’t mind that cozy feeling. Now the bad: I ordered the short stack of pancakes with eggs, bacon and potatoes. Although the restaurant was not busy yet, it took a while for the food to arrive. When it did the two pancakes were thick and light in color and served with butter packets. The bacon strips which I requested extra crispy were burnt and small. The potatoes had no flavor(needed some seasoning as well as peppers and onions to me) and were overcooked as well. The real travesty is that this meal was $ 9.99! The pancakes were small and had a overly sweet taste that reminded me of a box mix batter. I couldn’t eat half of them. My husband’s omelette was good but it’s hard to mess up an omelette. He asked for a side of sour cream and was served a tablespoon in a plastic cup and charged $ 1. Tony’s has great service but it is highly lacking in the quality and quantity of food offered for the price.

I came here on a Saturday morning around 10:30. I thought it would be very crowded, but it was not that bad. The waitress was able to get me a table right away. I saw quite a few senior couples as well as families with small kids. I can tell this is a popular place in the community. I didn’t expect to see Turkey coffee here, but I spotted it on the menu. So I decided to give it a try. It was my first time that I’d had it. The coffee came In a small boiling pot with a handle. Turkish coffee is made from boiling coffee grounds, It’s not dripped coffee, like how coffee is usually made in most coffee shops. It came with a beautiful small serving cup(like a shot espresso cup). See my picture later. It sounds like I’m knowledgeable about this type of coffee. Actually, I learned from the restaurant owner, who was so kind to explain to me. As to the taste of the coffee, I would say the roast was between medium and bold. I drank coffee black, which is how Turkish coffee is consumed. For the breakfast item, I ordered my favorite, a Florentine eggs Benedict. It was very good. The yolk was nicely cooked. You can tell it is good when the yellow is not over-cooked and still runny. The hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, but I felt like the sauce was a bit too much. The spinach was fresh. The English muffin was toasted very well with a nice buttery taste. Although it was a side, the fried potatoes, lightly browned, were very tasty and not too greasy. I finished them anyway at the risk of having too much carbs. The serving people are all very friendly. One thing you would appreciate is that the owner/manager takes time to walk around to connect with the patrons. You don’t see this very often in other places. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the service. If you like home-style cooking and a community atmosphere, you’ll like this place. I’ll come back and try something else.

I love Saturday morning breakfast, and today I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to partake of my normal Saturday morning tradition. Thanks to a recommendation to order from Tony’s Café on my way home, I was able to still have my breakfast! I ordered online through the Eat24 that is linked through Unilocal, and they kindly informed me that my meal was ready to be picked up! AMAZING! No other restaurants do that!!! So that was a good sign for me when it came to Tony’s! When I arrived at the restaurant, it was busy, as suspected for a Saturday. I went to the counter to pick up my order, of which a few of the wait staff was unaware that orders could be place online, via Eat24. But a kind woman came out the back and took care of everything. My food was ready, as I was already informed proir, and the lovely woman who took care of me, quickly, kindly and professional got me out of the restaurant. I am now sitting and enjoying my breakfast, which is very very tasty and well worth every penny spent! I can’t wait to come back try something different! I was not disappointed in anything! Definitely well be recommeding this restaurant! Thank you Tony’s Café for the exceptional service and amazing food! P. S not sure what to order? I recommend the chicken fried steak meal. You well not be disappointed! ;)

Long time resident but first time visitor. I was surprised to find such a great place in my relative backyard. I met two others for a business discussion over breakfast on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised at the warm greeting Lina, one of the owners, gave both of them – frequent customers – when they joined me. She had already greeted me with friendly, hospitable service before they arrived and her interaction with them quickly dismissed some of the negative reviews I saw online beforehand. I suspect Tony’s just didn’t meet the expectations of some guests but that can happen at any restaurant; that doesn’t mean the food here was necessarily bad or that service was poor. It did help to know in advance from other Unilocal reviewers that many dishes came without sides, but given portion size that didn’t bother me at all. Of course, I wasn’t there at peak service time on a weekend where crowding, noise or stretched waitstaff might present challenges. I ordered the full order of(2) bacon breakfast tacos, sans potatoes. Good thing! They were huge – one taco with the potatoes would have more than filled me up. I’m not sure what their secret ingredients are but the the eggs and salsa had a wonderful flavor. Coffee was hot and fresh and the cream was nice and cold. I will be back. If you plan to visit Tony’s Café for the first time just be aware that many dishes do not come with sides, and be prepared for a small local better-than hole-in-the-wall experience at a restaurant with a hometown feel, friendly service and good food. Period. And if you have a problem with anything just ask for Lina or Tony. I’m sure they will leave you a satisfied customer who will also want to make a return visit.

I read some awful reviews before deciding to try Tony’s. Lauren D. Plano, TX stuck out. 235 reviews. I wonder what could have happened for her to write such a lousy review? The place is anything but fancy. Of course when you see the word café you’re not supposed to expect fancy. I could see where they hired local girls that were not professional waitresses. They did OK. I had to wait a bit but usually that means the meal was not rushed. It wasn’t. I have an affinity for liver and onions. I’d never eaten a liver and onion breakfast before and when I saw it on the menu I changed my mind from the original thought to liver and onions. I was not disappointed. Delicious! The eggs were really over easy. The potatoes were — potatoes. The meat and onions were perfect. I had an english muffin which I poured syrup on and ate it with a knife and fork. Like I said, I can’t imagine what went on when the folks that give this place a bad rating. Being a café it might not be for everyone. For we who are nostalgia freaks, café’s and dinners in general are just fine. We know where the fine dining is and we’ll go there when that’s what we want. I just wanted a home cooked meal and I got one. What I assumed was the female owner came out to make sure everything was OK. Very friendly. Always a nice touch. So yes, it is worth a try. I hope you don’t get a new waitress that hasn’t been broken in yet and I hope the cook doesn’t call in sick and they get a replacement. What I experienced was a good meal at a decent price with adequate — though not excellent — service. We enjoyed the experience. I hope you do too!

This place advertises itself as «low carb, low fat» restaurant with a mediterranean flair. This is a flat out lie and false advertisement, meant to try and get folks interested in low carb meals in the door. When there is not a SINGLETHING on your menu, without modification, that is low carb… you cannot call yourself a low carb establishment. Eggs and omelettes are generally great low carb options, but the ONLY side options available are potatoes, bread, biscuits, or fruit… all of which are very HIGH carb sides. The waitress didn’t even know what a carb was so I tried explaining it to her and she finally suggested bacon as a side only I couldn’t get that as a side replacement. it would be extra. I told her to just forget about it and bring me the omelette with nothing on the side. Of course it came with half a plate of potatoes that were thrown away because I didn’t eat them. I can get eggs at McDonalds and not eat the bun that comes with it yet you don’t see McDonald’s calling itself a low carb restaurant. If I’m paying for a full meal at a low carb restaurant, then I expect you to have actual low carb options… not expect your patrons to have to modify all of the meals or just not eat the stuff served with them. The atmosphere here is terrible. It looks like a very tacky diner that opened in the 70s and hasn’t updated their look since. It’s in a junky strip mall in an average part of town so I can’t say I was expecting much more. It was filled with older patrons. The eggs/omelette were fine. It’s pretty hard to screw up an omelette. I can’t comment on any of the rest of the food, I just think they need to do away with the false advertising about being a low carb establishment. Price: 4⁄5 Food: 2⁄5 Ambiance: 1.5÷5 I do not tolerate outright lies. If the establishment removes their false claims from their website, I’ll consider revising my review. You want new customers? Try telling the truth. You’re a hole in the wall, run of the mill, breakfast diner.
