Yogurt Zone

I really like the salted caramel frozen yogurt and this place has the best in Plano. That said, who can afford to eat this regularly? I mean its twice the price of Hagen-​Daz priced by the ounce. Good fruit and topping selection, except they are routinely out of blueberries, or sour ones when available. As another reviewer pointed out, the yogurt always starts out runny. Still, my favorite for this sort of thing in Plano.

Very clean shop and the flavor is good. I hate going to yogurt place that tastes like a bad chemical batch. The pistachio and salted caramel pretzel were both good.

This is a decent, but not exceptional yogurt place. They had 14 flavor dispensers, but two were out of order. The yogurt was creamy and good tasting. What was impressive was the large variety of mix-​ins available. I might have ranked it higher, but the place was permeated with an antiseptic smell, as if it had just been cleaned. I’m glad it was decent weather, as I would not have wanted to eat inside.
I might have ranked it higher, but the place had more «non-​traditional» flavors and not enough basic chocolate, vanilla, coffee, etc. I’d go back as it is close to my house.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My favorite flavor is White Chocolate Mousse and it’s usually hard to find but they ALWAYS have it. They also have a wide assortment of toppings to choose from. Testers are always free and it’s a great, easily accessable location! Give them a try!

Tried this place while visiting from the Midwest. It was a huge disappointment compared to the FroYo places back home. There weren’t many flavors to choose from and most were of the obvious ‘chocolate and vanilla’ variety. The toppings were a huge mess so don’t even think about it if you have a food allergy. To top it off the frozen yogurt was runny and it wasn’t even a hot day. I spent $ 4 on half of a cup of less than mediocre FroYo. Boo!

Bad experience. Owner did not honor our two groupons and defensively raised his voice, and quote, «this is my store and I can make my policy how ever I want. If you have a problem with the coupon, you can go take it up to Groupon. I don’t care what the fine print says, and I don’t care it’s not written anywhere, I’m not taking your second groupon. Now, that’ll be $ 10.47». To top it all off, like the other reviewers said, it didn’t taste great and is expensive. If it weren’t for the groupon, we wouldn’t have gone.

First off, at the time of writing, the cost is $.49/​oz. It’s significantly more than the Froyo place we go to normally.
The good news is that the Froyo here has a little better consistency and taste. I really liked the strawberry, blueberry and the hawaiian something or other.
The bad news is that some of the machines don’t dispense very quickly. You pull down the lever all the way and you gotta wait a while for it to start coming out. Sometimes you have to just push the lever back and some will dispense, then you gotta do it again. Kind of a pain.
I finally chose to get strawberry froyo with strawberry fruit. The frozen strawberries looked terrible so I went with the fresh strawberries which looked fine.
The Wife was very excited about the toasted coconut shavings and always gets lots of fresh fruit and the marachino cherries.
I don’t normally get froyo but since the strawberry was pretty good, I sprung for some. All in all, we walked out of there with a $ 5 charge between the two of us. Not too bad.

Location is okay — next to a pizza place so the natural thing is to go there for dessert. Flavors are interesting — salted caramel pretzel? And the toppings are plentiful. Nothing really stands out. A TV in the corner was showing SpongeBob and the person working was intently watching TV, so much that I startled him to ask for a spoon. This place is also more expensive than other yogurt places in the area.

The yogurt was a good selection. I prefer the tart flavors and they had 2. But when I began eating my beautifully created dessert, some of the toppings tasted like cleaning products. Nilla wafers, craisins and fruit mostly. Beware of that when you go.

Never heard of this place and purchased a Groupon Now for the Plano location (i have email confirmation to prove it) in their parking lot which was to be used in the next 30 min Saturday evening. The staff was rude and refused to honor it. I called managment/​ower and they actually argued with me about my purchase and told me to get a refund from Groupon and that this was not for their store when it clearly was. Will NEVER go to this place again. They had no business when we arrived and with staff and mgmt like this dont expect them to have much. Groupon was awesome and quickly provided refund Monday morning. This is my first ever Unilocal review of anything and wish I had not received such an experience to write this one.

Used my Groupon Now deal and turns out this place is right around the corner from the job. The cashier was friendly and helpful. She offered samples and helped in getting the most out of our groupon. The choices are pretty standard with other yogurt places, I had the Watermelon sorbet on my first visit then went back the next day with the kids for some cookies & cream. The topping bar is bright, clean, well stocked & everything is fresh. I like the granola & sliced almonds. The machines are clean too no yogurt left dripping from the dispenser or in the pan below. My son loves the swivel chairs and high tables. Over all this is a good place and I’ll be back.

This place is great! They have non-​fat cake batter and non-​fat chocolate obsession flavors that are so YUMMY!!!
