Chipotle Mexican Grill

Love chipotle. The food is always fresh. The service is always great. It always depends on who serves you. Some fill up your plate others skimp out. Carnitas bowl is my go too. Love the burrito also. It’s truly fresh fast food. Wish we had one in Montréal.

I stopped in to pick up an early dinner since I was in a hurry. It seemed like the best of the fast food chains near my lodgings. I had only been to a Chipotle once before several years ago. When I saw the selection on the menu board, I remembered why I hadn’t returned. Nonetheless, hunger and convenience prevailed. I ordered a steak salad. The little cubes of meat were inedible– just chewy bits of gristle and fat. There’s nothing more disappointing than getting bad take out when your far away from home on a business trip. My recommendation is to avoid ordering steak anything.

Every Chipotle fan from Montréal will agree with me that a craving for a burrito bowl makes the 70-​or-​so-​minute drive to Plattsburgh worth it’s while.
Excellent experience both on staff and food level everytime I visit. Don’t be afraid to ask politely if you think you should get a little more meat, rice, topping or whatever altough portions always seem to be bigger during slower times such as between lunch and dinner rush or after 7PM. Don’t be afraid by the price which may seem a little steep for mexican fast food, a Chipotle meal is made with high quality ingredients which are responsibly sourced.

First time eating at Chipotle was a good one! This place is new and trendy, lots of seating with options to eat outside during summer. Upon walking in, I was immediately drawn to the big menu board with clear and easy to read selections.
I love their no-​nonsense display, everything is explained well and unlike other chains that overwhelm you with choices and print, I did not have to squint and was able to decide pretty quickly.
As much as the simple selection is a plus, it may bring some drawbacks such that you cannot choose the size of your burrito. For around 8 $ you will get a pretty filling meal, but if you had a smaller appetite, you would have to opt for tacos. They seem to serve just whole grain tortillas, you get a choice of chicken, beef, pork or tofu, which is a pleasantly rare addition in the fast food world.
Steaks are constantly prepared on the grill in the background so you have an idea of how fresh the food is. My chicken burrito was delicious, and my bf ordered the steak bits, cooked medium rare, they were well seasoned, juicy!
Note– prices are a little steep, an extra 2 $ for guacamole and 2 – 3 $ for drinks can set you back 15 $ for lunch.

Lady manager is an asshole. Never in a good mood. They short you on portion size because she seems to be so cheap. Rest of staff is very friendly. Makes me not want to come here because of her.

Went to that new location in Plattsburgh for the first time with my date and we really love the service from the staff. The food were amazing and really a good portion for a smile price. Been to Chipotle in Chicago and happy they finally have it here. Good job guys!

Delicious food and quick service. Chipotles are a little pricey as far as Mexican fast food goes but you can taste the difference.

I loved this place these guys where so well informed of the product they where selling. The building atmosphere was modern with nice art work and seating was plenty. The food also was great to it was my first time eating here and I will definitely come back next time in Plattsburgh, NY.

Just returned from the opening of Chipotle — you can see the staff has been through a lot of training, and are trying their best! There is still a little more practice the staff needs, but all in all the experience was good! Waited online for about 20 – 25 minutes to order, but that was only because of their opening. Great addition to the food options in Plattsburgh!
