Is it just me or is shopping in a farm store great fun? Bomgaars just moved from down Plattsmouth. The new building is spacious & brightly lit. I enjoy looking at the cowboy boots & western Under Armor, but, wow, I can’t afford those prices. On the other hand, if you’re shopping for plant, bird feed, plumbing fittings & that kind of hardware stuff, their prices are fine, especially since the next store is menards 10 miles away. In contrast to box stores, the staff in Bomgaars seem experienced in fixing things & give good advice.

For everyday farm and average items they offer a good selection and they are convenient. I have purchased tools there at reasonable prices and fine quality. We buy grains and feed for a variety of animals and have had good experiences. Staff is great and facility is solid.
