A New Beginning

I purchased 2 groupons, one for myself & one for my mom, for a full set of eyelash extensions plus a refill on October 13. Winx is part of this salon, so I called the number to make an appointment with Kelly & left a message on her cell phone asking her to call me. A week later after I left her a second message, she texted me to tell me she’d been out of cell range. Really, for a week?! She gave me a appointment 7 days after that. After 6 more texts (including my confirmation of day & time) she tells me another person is interested in the time slot that I JUST CONFIRMED WITH HER. When I told her I wanted to keep my appointment, this was TWO WEEKS after I started the process of getting an appointment, she tells me that her client booked the time online & she hadn’t updated. I asked her to please call me, but she insisted she was currently in an appointment. Then she told me she’d call me in an hour. Two days later I visited the salon to try to talk to her & the salon was closed at 3 PM on Friday. Today, FOUR DAYS AFTER SHE SAID SHE’D CALL ME, I texted her once again to ask if there was someone else that could honor my groupon. She now responds that she is the «only artist» & she is completely booked because of the success of the groupon, & suggested that I go through the process to get a refund. When I reminded her that she was going to get back to me with her availability last week, that I didn’t really want to get a refund, she says she’s booked through Thanksgiving! I give her 0 stars!

I can’t begin to describe all the wonderful reasons why I gave 5 stars, well I could but the review would be too long no one would read it. ;-) I received a facial from Sharon and OMG it was amazing!
I searched on Unilocal for spas in pleasant hill and a plethora of choices popped up. I did some research and contacted a few spas and Sharon was the only one who responded. I was able to set an appointment via text which was super convenient. I had to cancel my original appointment due to a horrible sunburn, I know aestheticians worst nightmare, I texted her a day prior and let her know and she was totally cool about it and we rescheduled. She even gave me some skincare advise on how to care for it.
Today was my appointment and I have already scheduled my next one. She has a promo for new guests and I was able to purchase a package of 4 at a discounted rate. Sharon is so friendly and welcoming. Her room was very clean and comfortable. It looked like she has all the best gadgets and products for every skin type. I am a cosmetologist so I am aware of what things to pay attention to and Sharon hit the mark in every aspect. She gave me such a thorough consultation and addressed all my concerns. She seemed very knowledgable in skin care as well asShe explained the agenda of what will be happening during the service and why it was beneficial. Her massage was just the right amount of pressure and her extractions weren’t painful or uncomfortable at all! She finished the service with a hand and arm massage as well as lip balm with SPF in it too.
My experience was nothing short of AMAZING!

So best update for a review ever. My girlfriend got both jobs she interviewed for after getting her hair done here! Might have been luck but after 5 months of looking I think her new look gave her the confidence she needed. :)

I come here for mani-​pedis with Teresa. She has tons of new Shellac colors and is so meticulous on your nails. She is wonderful!
Very cute salon. They have two Hair Stylists and an esthetician to boot!
