All About You Day Spa

I found All About You Day Spa about three years ago now. I would not go anywhere else now that I have found this Spa. Waxing is something Im very particular about and I searched quite a long time before I found Shelly. Shelly also does a wonderful job with my pedicures. I always leave the Spa refreshed relaxed and with pretty toes again!

I finally used my groupon for highlights and a cut& she was amazing! She really took the time to weave the blonde in my brownish hair so it looks really natural. Even though I live in walnut creek I will definitely be back here!

I am going today for my second visit with Christine. I made a second appointment because the service was fabulous the first time and I was very satisfied with the way my hair came out! I got a cut, color, and highlight. I usually have a hard time getting a hair dresser to give me highlights that i like. I loved my highlights and the all over color was perfect. The wash was Very relaxing. Overall a very good experience

Since I’m new to the neighborhood and my original stylist is in Fairfield. I decided to find a closer location to get a haircut. Since, I’m still browsing for the perfect stylists. I decided to go on Groupon. I’m not sure if that was a good idea or not.
After browsing many deals, I came across this place. I checked on Unilocal,but there were no reviews in regards to haircuts. It was more for manicure/​pedicure. So I figured why not just try it… The deal was for $ 19 (orig. 50) which included one shampoo, haircut & blow-​dry. My hair is not complicated. I have long hair and all I want is a trim. Taking off 1″ all around, maintaining my layers and my bangs to swoop to one side. How hard is that? Apparently it must be.
When I made the appointment (appointment only-​no walk in) she was able to give me a 7:30pm appointment. That alone was worth a star. When we arrived, I was surprise to see the place. It is located in a business building, almost like an apartment complex for businesses. The salon is very small. She already knew I had a groupon and she asked how I wanted my haircut. After I explained it to her, she then led me to the washing area. After shampooing my hair, she began to comb it with a pick and pinned up half of my hair up and the other half down and started cutting. Then suddenly she dropped all my hair down and started cutting. I was like what the heck. I’ve never seen anyone just drop all of my hair after the first pin up. That’s why I have layers. You bring down a layer at a time. Maybe I missed Haircut 101 class, because I swear that’s how you do it.
After the haircut was done. I was ready for the blow dry. This is the best part. You know ladies why we come to a salon? It’s because we want to show off our hair and have our man take us out to dinner and flaunt that bad boy! We’ll it was an EPIC FAIL! The «blow dry» consisted of taking a blow dryer to my hair and running her fingers through it. No roller brush was used. Heck, I could have done that at home. Why would I pay you to do that? In the end, I wasn’t ready to go out with my honey to flaunt my hair. I was ready to go home and not show it to the world. It was a total disappointment.
If the salon tells me a style is not part of a blow dry. Than $ 50 for this service is a ridiculous amount of money. I can go to my girl in Fairfield and pay $ 55 (normal price for everyone) and she will give me a shampoo, conditioner, cut, blow dry and style. If you see this deal on Groupon or looking for a hairstylist, I suggest you go somewhere else. It’s not worth it. Supercuts or Mastercuts would give you better service.
My honey goes all the way to Pleasanton for his haircut. I might as well go all the way to Fairfield to get mines. I only have to go every 3 months, at least I trust her with my hair and I know what I’m getting.

I just got my hair colored and cut here yesterday and I would never go back. The coloring came out okay but it is not consistent throughout my hair. I asked her to take two inches off the bottom but I still see split ends in some areas so she obviously did not even cut all of my hair. She said she would shape my bangs to frame my face but then she did not even cut them at all. Then she only partially dried my hair with the blow dryer and said it looked good and that I was done. I see only good reviews here on Unilocal so I’m thinking perhaps I received this poor level of service simply because I had a coupon and she didn’t want to put the appropriate effort into getting less money. Either way I now have to make an appointment somewhere else to finish the job as I do not want to go back here for any reason. So, if you plan on going here don’t do it if you have a coupon.

Anyone who needs some GREAT nails, needs to go here and have Ronnie do your nails. She is the ONLY one I know who actually does ‘pink and whites’ correctly. She doesn’t use tips — they are actually called white back fills! Wow, they last 3 weeks + !!!
All of the people are very friendly! Shelly has done a great job of finding really nice and friendly people. Shelly waxes my brows and they always look fabulous! I would highly recommend this place. They have all services here! I’ve also seen fantastic haircuts come out of here.

Awesome place! I got my nails done by Shelly. (minx nails) Shes a great manicurist, very sweet and really pays attention to details. I’m very picky who works on my nails because I used to do nails myself. She’s very knowledgeable about what she does. I definetly recommend her to anybody looking to get they’re nails done! Oh btw she’s the only one who does minx nails in the area and she’s charges very reasonable prices!!!

I have been visiting Shelly for five years and she is FABULOUS! I have very thick eyebrows and she is the only person I trust to even come within 5 feet of my face. She listens to what I want and I leave a satisfied customer every time. Its definitely a nice break in my day where I can relax and have some good conversation.

I agree with Avissa — I love this place. I see Pam for my hair and she is AWESOME. She really listened to what I wanted and my cut and color were just that. She is also very accomdating with scheduling — always putting the client first. (And I hear she does wedding parties, too! When my daughters are ready, we’ll know who to call!). The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. There is also services available for nails and massage. I haven’t had the chance to do those yet, but everyone walking out is usually grinning, sighing or checking out their nails! I really do recommend these fine ladies to everyone I talk to.

All right folks-​this is my home away from home. if your in the mood for pampering come here. Do you remember the scene from coming to america when they are all sitting in the barber shop just shoot’n the breeze? Well this is the same concept but with great products and wonderful service. The owner is the one who i go and see and I must say-​she does a wonderful job.
There are kinda hidden off the main road but give them a call and they will direct you to a calgon moment. Enjoy!
