Dr. Wong did some gum surgery and 3 implants in my mouth. There was no pain during or after the procedure. Everyone in the office was professional and super friendly. And she did wash her hands despite what the other reviewer experienced. I asked her about the other review and she said she usually washes her hands right before she comes into the room, but she is behind the patient and they might not see her doing it.

I have been seeing Dr. Wong for three visits now and have found her office to be excellent. Dr. Wong’s office is clean, up to date and she is very professional. There is always going to be some discomfort when visiting a gum doctor, for me my gums were so bad that my regular dds couldn’t take care of them anymore (I’m a smoker). Hey at that point I expect that there is going to be a some discomfort, but I was surprised that it wasn’t as much as I thought. I did have to wait for an appointment, but when you see a good doctor, they are busy, its the ones that have a ton of opening that you have to wonder why are they not busy?

I have been a patient of Dr. Wong’s since 2007. I have multiple periodontal issues, including the need for implants and bone grafts, dating back to 1993. I have been in the care of three Bay Area periodontists and Dr. Wong is top notch! Her skill and knowledge are a given but she also has a very calm demeanor, putting her patients at ease. She had to deliver some disheartening news about a diagnosis and did so with compassion and understanding. After a particularly invasive procedure, Dr. Wong called me at home to see how I was fairing. I must visit the office several times a year and at each appointment a friendly professional member of the staff has been attentive to my needs. The office runs smoothly as all the staff are very experienced long– standing employees. The only issue that could be considered a negative is that because the hygienist had a full patient load you might wait a week or so if you can’t make your scheduled appointment time.
