I literally just found out that this place was here and I love crepes! It was super easy to find and I’m so happy that they open early in the morning. The lady that helped me was very nice and she is quick! I did not wait long for my food at all. She made my Fresh squeezed orange juice right in front of me so I know I truly am getting«Fresh squeezed» OJ. I also had the chicken Alfredo crêpe. It was very delicious. The sauce went really well with the tomatoes. I’ll be coming here more often

Great Place! Great food! Great people! We are fans of this little gem. There is a few indoor places to sit as well as outdoor. The turkey panini is our favorite. Love the fresh juice, coffee, desserts, savory and sweet crepes!

Got a crêpe here… and everything was subpar. The lady taking my order had a strange attitude, as if I was inconveniencing her by placing an order. Took 20 mins for a crêpe, place was empty. Crêpe is filled with $ 2 of lunchmeat. I live pretty close to here, and this place almost always seems empty… just an overall depressing place.

Have been here twice and had the tuna panini each time. The second time it was busy and only one person behind the counter so I did have to wait 10 to 15 minutes. Still I’d rather wait a little longer to enjoy a unique meal at a local mom and pop restaurant. I haven’t had their crepes but they look amazing,

Bombbbbb Love it, a little piece of Europe in a non-cultured city. Its a cute little bistro tucked away in Pleasant Hill. Mom and son shop and they are super nice. Good food, reasonable prices and nice out door sitting. #supportlocalbusiness #panini4life #nuttelacrepe #thisisnottwitter

Little Red Bistro is so small it could easily be overshawdowed by the 7 – 11 next door. remembered they opened. but couldn’t find them. just by chance saw them today. unfortunately already had eats, so passed on the panninis(7ish), pastries, etc. brew: organic coffee(sm 1.75) –smooth, easy sipping. drips: –small space, functional, big parking lot…

Coffee — ok Crêpe — FAIL!!! The inside was cold and the crêpe was soggy. Maybe next time I shall try the panini or something else in the menu but definitely not the crepes.

Just ate here. I had the Capri crêpe. The spinach, tomatoes and cheese are inside the crêpe, completely uncooked. More like a salad with crêpe around it. I didn’t care for this. Also they don’t have a good hot sauce– just brought me a cup of something I think was sriracha. My husband had the ham and cheese with bacon. It’s basically lunch meat and bacon bits– the latter of which is super gross and cheap. I was disappointed as I would love to find a good crêpe place nearby. I will not be returning. :(

Great little spot to call your own! Mainly a panini and café type of spot, so if you’re looking for something quick and easy in the morning this is it. Love that they have Fair Trade Coffee;) Bonus!

Love the people and the food. Maybe they don’t conform enough to typical soulless service people some expect, but rather have their own personality. I do appreciate that and find it refreshing. Maybe try to be friendly instead of condescending and demanding and your experience will be more like mine and enjoyable for both sides.

The European service is not warm, bubbly, or even personable; don’t expect it. What you’ll get here is perhaps the best Crêpe of your life. We had Green eggs and Ham, Honey Walnut, and Pear Strawberry Brie, each of them fantastic.

Service — The woman who took our order looked like she didn’t want to be there, and didn’t want to take our order. As someone who has worked in customer service this was by far the worst. My girlfriend asked for two plain crepes with her order on the side and we never got them but I was charged for them anyway. Food — This is a horrible excuse for a crêpe, I’m overstuffed and feel like I just at 5 huge pancakes. My Chicken Alfredo crêpe I believe it’s called was huge and just smothered in Alfredo sauce, and I’m not exaggerating. Don’t waste your time, you’re better off making your own crepes at home.

The lady was pleasant, but PR as mentioned in some reviews could be warmer. We split a white chocolate frappé and it was decent. A good cup, but not the best coffee in town. I would say the strong point of the bistro is the atmosphere and seating. Cute and just dainty enough to have an intimate meet up with a friend! If you’re really hungry for breakfast, this bistro is not the place and I personally didn’t feel like dishing out $ 7 for a crêpe this morning. But that and the paninis seem to be their specialty. Ciao.

Food was really good! This appears to be a family operation. It was steady when we arrived at 11am on Saturday morning(live music playing outside). We ordered and the the folks started coming and filled up, spilling into the outdoor seating. Really nice The food was well prepared in a Euro style-simple with medium portions. I had the ham and cheese crêpe; filling with layers of thin ham, crumbly bacon and topped with a nice creamy dill sauce. My dining partner a Santa Fe panini with a side salad-well prepared. The coffees are SO and the barista was talented-strong coffee, but no bitterness. A neighbourhood gem-we’ll be back!

My 1st time going to this place and I won’t be back. I was so excited to try the food. The young man that took my order said it would take 15 minutes which was no problem. I came back in 15 minutes and my food wasn’t started yet(some of the food was started) because apparently he was alone and very busy. He told me it would be at least an additional 15 minutes because he was working by himself. My suggestion to this young man is don’t tell someone it’s going to be 15 minutes when it’s really going to take 45 minutes. If I didn’t have to be somewhere, I would have gladly hung out and waited. There’s nothing wrong with letting the customer know you are running the entire place solo and that it will take an unlimited amount of time to process their order. The customer then can decide if they want to wait before placing an order. I get that he had his hands full, however he should complete orders as he receives them. Rather than do this, he stopped in the middle of servicing an order to take another order. I have hundreds of contacts and sadly for thus place, if their name comes up in a conversation, I will share my experience. I don’t blame this young man at all, he clearly is a hard worker and under the circumstances had a good attitude. I blame the owners and think it’s a shame they would allow this to happen. Owners, get it together and run your business before it runs you OVER! t l

Dog friendly — my wife walk the Dobie here on weekends. The crepes and lattes are quite good. Next trip I’ll try one of the treats like baklava or a fresh juice. Not too much seating inside but a few nice tables outside.

Came in today with my mom to get a little treat. When we first walked into the restraunt I noticed a group of three people sitting on the lounge chairs smoking and chatting. We walked into the cute little place and no one was around to take our order… 1 minute later one of the girls who was outside smoking a cigarette asked us how we were doing from behind, trying to play it off like she was outside cleaning tables or something. I was aphauld, how could anyone hire a lady to work here who is just lounging around? She was unprofessional and mother and I both agreed that she didn’t look presentable, she looked like she didn’t shower today and was wearing a unflattering, tight and low cut black tank top. Call me crazy but when you work at a place that sells fancy crepes, pastries and gourmet sandwichs shouldn’t you wear clothing that covers you and put on some make up to look appealing… her shirt was skin tight and her armpit rolls and belly rolls could be seen and her breasts were bulging out, I’m pretty sure I almost saw her nipple and she had scars around her neck and pimples. She looked like she was about to go for a jog and just got lazy and put her hair in an awkward side ponytail. I almost lost my appetite when I was trying to place my order. The coffee she gave to us was cold and when I asked her what kind of teas they had she couldn’t even name them she just brought over a basket with different tea bags on them. The crepes themselves were absolutely delicous though and the ambiance is very nice. I just wish that the owner will find a better worker to represent such a cute place. Also, the lady who was smoking didn’t even wash her hands when she gave us our coffee and she went right back outside and lit another one with her friends. At one point while we were eating we actually saw her stand in the doorway while another customer who just paid picked up their coffee from the counter, she was obviously trying to be sly and wait and see if the custpmer was going to order anything else before she went back outside with her pals. How much more obvious do u have to make it that you don’t really care if your seen not working? I wouldve given this place a much better rating if this lady wasn’t smoking, was more hospitable and looked more presentable.

Cool lil joint close to home. I had a green eggs and ham crêpe, well put together, tasty and I like the dill sauce drizzled over the top. My brood had a peanut butter and nutella — it was also quite good. Sunday morning at 8:45a.m., the cashier lady acted like she wanted to be anywhere but there — kinda a sour puss. But as I always say, better a sour puss than a sour crêpe. Ya feel me?

After one recent East Bay crêpe dining fail, a Unilocal search turned up the elusive delicacy in, of all places, Pleasant Hill — Little RED Bistro. Although not located downtown, it is only a few minutes away up Gregory Lane at the corner of Pleasant Hill Road, in a small street mall. Unilocal tells us there is another crêpe place in Walnut Creek, but how often there can you pull up, park for free, and be inside in 30 seconds? Coming here on a Saturday afternoon, we were dying for some dessert crepes. Quickly we placed our order: my wife the Honey Walnut crêpe, and I the Strawberry Nutella crêpe. They have a nice variety of coffees to wash down the crepes with, so I also had a mocha frappé. The order was under $ 20, a good value. They also have a variety of panini sandwiches and desserts if crepes aren’t your thing. Both crepes were delicious — it had been so long! And as good as my crêpe was, I think I’ll order the Honey Walnut crêpe next time — it was outstanding! The presentation on both crepes was beautiful; I almost hated to spoil things by eating them. The young owner is originally from Bavaria, and this Bistro is a little bit of Europe in the East Bay. The atmosphere inside is pleasant, suitable for a casual date, and there are nice spots outside to eat as well. Just be aware closing time is 4PM, so get here early!(As of 8⁄2013; the owner is contemplating staying open till 7PM in the future — stay tuned.) If you like crêpes, and are in the area, you owe it to yourself to make the trip to Pleasant Hill and the Little Red Bistro.
