The worst food I’ve had in awhile. The kimchi was old. The side of fruit they gave with my order was bad. And the meat was chewy.

Quite honestly, the only reason I go here is for the Fried Chicken. That and if I’ve got a hankering for Asian food late at this, this is open til pretty late on weekends. I’ve tried other dishes besides the Fried Chicken, but they’re not quite the same as other Korean mom-and-pop stops I’ve gone to, like Korea House or even the Korean restaurant a few doors done. And even though I like the Fried Chicken here, I’ve had better versions of KFC elsewhere. It’s not quite up to par as the places I’ve gone to in KoreaTown in NYC. But hey, it’s the closest thing we’ve got in this area. Oh and damn, the one time I ate there, they sat me and my brother(who are obviously not skinny) at some table with some tight seating. If I finished my food, I wouldn’t be able to fit in that tight area any longer! Not all of us are FOB Asian skinny!

Don’t believe the times they are open. It says they are open until 1:30am but I’m calling at 12:26 and they refuse to take my order. Lazyyyyyyyyyy. Don’t bother with this place, you can’t even understand them when they speak and they are rude. Never gonna call this place again.

I’m not too big on soju… [+] …but the yogurt flavored one was amazing! [+] strawberry’s not bad either [+] unlimited chips! comes w/this delicious curry sauce too, yumm! [+] right next to a karaōke/pool place so that’s pretty cool [-] service was mehh. Chips are unlimited yet our waitress was like«omgahd this is the last time» when we asked for more chips. Like wtf??? We are paying customers! Why would you EVER do that? Especially when it’s complimentary! And let me just say it was 5 hours before closing too Though the waitress could be nicer(or at least hide her frustration from us), I will still come back a second time if other people want to go. And just having it located next to a karaōke/pool place got to me!

Went in and went out. The place is dirty and the waitress is not a happy person. So we come here from Walnut Creek via traffic based on Unilocal reviews. 4 stars! Great! It’s got to be a safe bet since we’re not from around these parts. After looking in and checking out the other choices, we walk in. Dun, dun, duunnnn. We chose to sit by the wall with benches but the tables were too close to sit. Trying to move the table away took some force since the floors were sooo sticky that the tables were nearly glued down. The waitress waddles out without a word and drops the menus on to the sticky tables before retreating to the kitchen and turning the lights on. I don’t know if she hear us say hello but some greeting would be nice. The sticky menus were the last straw, we walked out and went two doors down. Love Me Tender? The lady and restaurant needs some good tender loving.

I wrote 2 other reviews of this place that were removed by Unilocal for some mysterious reason. Anyway, we went back there tonight for another great meal. This time we ordered a spicy soup with cabbage and fish cake — even though it sounds humble it was delicious and comforting. We also had the boneless spicy chicken thighs, which had an excellent sauce, not too sweet and absolutely delish. My all-time favorite is the pancake, which is more of a thin omelet studded with green onions and served with a wonderful soy and vinegar dipping sauce. Great food carefully made, and excellent service.

Love me Tender isn’t the name of the latest korean soap drama. it’s an actual korean eatery. seating looks like a few planks of 2×4’s were nailed together and splashed with gray and black paint. a few blackboards of the wall for décor. wooden chairs from goodwills, i presume. menu: hawaii bbq, kalbi, bulgogi, some soups, eclectic entrees, korean ramen(instant noodles), curries(think curry cubes) music: pop & soul eats: tried to order Hong hop tang(8,95)), mussel with veggie soup, told«out of season» –did someone forget to go to korean market to buy some? O dan Tang(8.50) «fish cake in vegetable stew» –9 round cakes, doughy, no fish taste, 3 sheets of fish cake in sweet tasting broth –broth made with onions, radish, cabbage, seaweed and msg –no banchan(side dishes) given –was asked, «do you want rice?» «no», i said. knowing surcharge was involved. banchan: –no service –food really skimpy –opens at 12, no one waiting and no one came in when i was eating. –food costs at most. $ 2 for what i was served. not a good value. –sorry, i no luv tender long time, ahn-nyoung(good bye).

Been meaning to try this place for awhile and will likely be a regular here now that I have. Only tried a couple of items so far, including: — Kim Chee Fried Rice — Dduk-bok-kki Both were solid… not quite like mom used to make but good enough to satisfy cravings. Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu items real soon.

I went for lunch recently after seeing the place open for a bit. I ordered the Ramen and it came in a hot steel pot. The flavor was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The place is not set up like any other Korean restaurants in the area, it’s highly worth a visit just for the different vibe you get when you walk in. They have Korean style fried chicken, which is something I’m definitely going to try soon.
