First time at this office Keety, the receptionist, made me feel comfortable. She was wonderful to talk to, receptive, very helpful, and informative. She definitely gave me a lot of one on time. I left happy and satisfied.

Dr Lin has taken care of my Father for about 3 years now. He is a very caring, compassionate, and professional Physician. As a neurologist, he is excellent. My Father is 92, and has moderate dementia. Dr. Lin did not blink an eye giving us the paperwork we needed to activate our DHCP and the Trust documents to manage the portions of his life that Dad was no longer able to do. He cares so much, that he saw me in the hospital near the nurses station — Dad was in for unrelated problems, and he took the time to come in and see Dad twice just to say hello and make sure he was OK. I would recommend him at any time! Should I need a neurologist, I hope it is Dr. Lin or someone just like him! Sometimes his office staff is a little different — maybe having an off day, but she cares just as much as Dr. Lin!

Wow! Just called to schedule an appointment and a female receptionist by the name of «Keety» picked up. She was extremely rude. Below is our conversation: Me: «Hi, may I please schedule an appointment to see Dr. Lin?» Keety: Uhhhhhhhhh… yeah(very condescending). Me: Can you let me know of the earliest appointment? Keey: «I’m pulling up that now, and it won’t be as earliest as you like!» Call her and see for yourself. The doctor lost my business and it wasn’t even his fault; it was the fault of the receptionist.

Dr. Lin is AMAZING! I spent three years seeing almost a dozen different Kaiser doctors for these mystery headaches. After MRI’s, CT scans, blood tests, countless RX’s, and different diagnosis, nothing worked. Last December we switched our health insurance. I now had the option to choose my own specialist. Dr. Lin looked like a qualified neurologist and was just down the street. I made an appointment for the following week. He asked a lot of questions my first meeting with him. He got a thorough history of my headaches and asked questions no Kaiser doctor had ever asked. After about 30 minutes he said, «I think you’re suffering from migraines with aura». He knew all the other migraine medicines I had tried that didn’t work and prescribed an injection. I filled it and was ready to use it on the onset of my next migraine. Two weeks later my boyfriend and I had stayed the night in SF and I woke up with the onset symptoms and gave the injection a try. For the first time in three years, I didn’t have a migraine after one had started to come on. I couldn’t believe it. Dr. Lin gave a name to the headaches that had been plaguing my life for three years. That in and of itself was a gift. And he gave me a treatment that gives me my days back. As any migraine sufferer knows, a day that starts with a migraine is a ruined day. I don’t have to live like that anymore. Thank you Dr. Lin!

It’s the two year anniversary of my trip to the hospital in an ambulance. Unfortunately this Dr. was on call. He didn’t listen to me when asking my symptoms, wrote down some seriously erroneous information, and gave me a drug that caused my condition to rapidly decline. I’m still trying to get back on my feet from this visit. There are some good neurologists in the TriValley area so avoid this one(and one thing I’ve learned since — you DON’T HAVETO use the physician there — you can request any one that has hospital privileges where you are). I just reread my hospital records and it’s even worse than I remembered as far as incorrect info and treatment.
