I found this place by browsing through the town during a wedding weekend. I had the Alfredo pasta with garlic bread during my visit. The food was decent nothing to die for but it was good enough to eat if you’re passing through. The service was very good and the restaurant was beautiful. I did enjoy the selection of wines they offered. Maybe that’s why I enjoyed my food because I had a few glasses of wine before dinner.

Wonderful pork chop with fresh vegetables! I wanted to eat it all but there was too much. We will be back to try other tastes. The Mahi Mahi was tender and tasty as well.

Good food but horrible customer service. I was just there with my co workers. One of my coworkers was leaving a 10 dollar bill for a tip and then me and my other co worker were saying that we don’t have change to leave more of a tip. One of the horrible servers there over heard us and asks if we want change, I guess she was desperate for a tip. So while I’m pulling out my hundred dollar bill I ask my co worker if she going to want change as well. Before I can even pull out my money the desperate server yells«never mind!» Like if we weren’t trying to leave her sorry a*s a tip. Best believe, I’ll be going back to get the servers name… I almost forgot to mention that when I was taking the knife and fork out of the napkin there was a long blonde hair in it. That’s so gross

Let me start off that the food is quite good here. However while our waitress was so sweet the service was pretty bad. Everything took forever, including the brownie Sunday that we ordered which really should have been simple. Also they didn’t have prices on their desserts and it certainly wasn’t worth the nearly $ 10 for a sundae.

High price, small portion and okay taste. It has been a very long time since leaving an Italian restaurant hungry. I ordered the combination dinner, caesar salad and spaghetti with meat sauce. The salad portion was decent but the quantity of spaghetti was small. I realize this was a split dinner between the salad and main meal but for $ 16, was shocked how little spaghetti was provided. As for the taste, it was decent but nothing special.

Mandatory stop every year! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, love the staff and the atmosphere. Can be pricy, but you’re in Pleasanton and that’s to be expected. Mac n cheese is great for kids(or adults) Cajun chicken Alfredo has the perfect heat and great flavor Pork chops are fantastic, thin but juicy. Bolognese is incredible, ground beef and sausage Spaghetti and meatballs is a staple(always ask for an extra meatball or two for the leftovers) Everything is great, love their salad options as well. Never miss an opportunity to eat here, and sometimes I stop in multiple days in a row.

Mike and I really like Strizzi’s. We’ve come here a few times for dinner and a few times for brunch. I like that it’s usually pretty quiet. It’s a great place for a simple Sunday brunch and they serve Pete’s coffee!

The brunch itself was good but the service very poor. The server brought my companions meal and then forgot to bring mine. I had to ask another server to her it after waiting for nearly 10 minutes. The manager brought it but didn’t even apologize. He only acknowledged that they forgot to bring the meal. Great way to keep repeat business.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since the early 1990’s. There was a time that they had very well prepared food at a reasonable price. Over the last five years, I’ve gone probably six or seven times, and each time I’ve been disappointed. The food is simply not very good. The meats off the grill are still fine, but the price is very very high for what you get. The pasta sauces are mostly flavorless. The pesto tasted like it had window cleaner in it. My daughters chicken wings were rubbery and undercooked. The rigatoni bolognese, once a strong suit, was also flavorless and the sauce was nearly watery. Our last trip, for a family of four with one eating only an appetizer and none having wine, $ 85. And none of our dishes were very good. This has been a consistent experience for years. I imagine the same gentleman owns the restaurant, which makes the fall surprising. It’s sad, so many great memories, but I’m not going back.

Amazing food and the Manager Ricky was extremely kind and our server was very accommodating. The food was full of flavor and the presentation was out standing. If you’re in downtown Pleasanton give them a try it’s worth it.

Good service and clean. I enjoyed my meal of pasta here. They kept bringing the bread which to me is a good sign. I had a glass of wine and tiramisu for dessert. I like this location and I wonder if the other location have the same quality. I would eat here again.

Well, checked this place out after the lunch rush, thinking that it would not be busy. Well, that part was a correct assumption. What I did not expect was the slow service for a chicken Caesar salad with chicken. Because I was on a tight time schedule(had about an hour), I ended up having to get the food to go. Our waitress was great though. Very knowledgable about the menu and was good to bringing out our drinks and bread quickly Overall, I am sure this place is decent. But as individual experiences may vary, I must say that mine was sub par at best. I say, go if you got the time to kill, and avoid if you are trying to get things done during the day.

We came here for a celebration… it was a great choice… Main Street restaurants were quite full as we walked a couple of blocks, very festive… We were seated immediately, the server was very attentive… We ordered the seafood cioppino and a seafood fettuccine… we shared both plates so it was very nice of them to split both dishes for us… It really was good… especially the seafood fettuccine, it was so buttery… we had to order one to go… did you know their to go orders are cheaper than eating in… on top of that, the server gave us free ice cream to share… my friend was so happy… Definitely will return…

I enjoy coming here for a ‘fancy’ twist over my regular quick lunches of Jack in the Box and sandwich shops. Pasta is my absolute favorite dish, I would eat it at every meal if I could, and I may come to Strizzi’s more often just to accomplish this goal! Though not a pasta dish, I am a big fan of their cajun chicken risotto which has just the right amount of everything and is topped off with cheese, making it even more delicious. Throwing a spoonful of this on top of the complimentary bread only makes it better! I also appreciate the simple spaghetti and their bolognese; both noodles were cooked perfectly and sauces were seasoned well! I did not like the minestrone at all, it had a varying taste between«what am I eating» and«I don’t even know what this is…» It also contained large chunks of all the ingredients which had me chewing more things than I was drinking broth. Our service most recently was just decent. The restaurant was deserted but it still took a good while for our orders to be taken and our food to arrive.

I just ate here today for the first time, I had won two $ 25 gift certificates from a radio station, so we(my cousin and I) figured we would try it. We chose to sit outside, as today was a beautiful day in downtown Pleasanton. My cousin had the Chicken Pesto and Pine Nuts(although she asked for no pine nuts) and I had the Seafood Fettuccine(scallops and prawns in a seafood cream sauce). Not exactly the cheapest place to go as mine was $ 23 and there could’ve been a little bit more pasta for that price. But anyway our server(Meg I believe) was very pleasant and checked on us frequently(often, but not too often) and was very nice. Overall we enjoyed out food and service. And I would go back, for a special occasion perhaps.

Came for lunch. Food was ok. The spinach salad was good but the lasagna didn’t seem fresh with a dried out top. Our child didn’t touch the $ 8 child’s menu pizza after spitting out the first bite. I probably would prefer costco pizza after taking a bite. Service was fine up until I realized when the bill came that the child drink and dessert was never offered. So I asked if we were supposed to get a drink and ice cream– the waitress said if we wanted it we could have asked for it. I asked if it was a part of the cost. She said it was free with the entrée. So then she asked if we wanted it(for $ 8 of course!). So I thought that encounter was pretty strange and felt like a coverup of her forgetting that portion of service. So not sure we would bother coming back. I’d rather try out the other places than return here

First, let me tell you– this place is a lot better then it’s counterpart Rigatonis! Though my service was pretty slow, my Jasmine Tea and Pasta were pretty good! The bread tasted kinda gross and cheap– try to avoid!

My uncles, brother and I wanted coffee and dessert on a Friday night, so we dropped by Strizzi’s. The dessert menu is a bit small, but caters to nearly every taste, from gelato to sundaes, to brownies to tiramisu. I got the berry sundae, my brother got the brownie sundae, my uncle got the tiramisu, and my other uncle got the gelato, of which they had two seasonal flavors to choose from: white chocolate or pumpkin. My uncle combined both flavors. I also ordered the café mocha. I was pleased with the tall, large glass the café mocha was served in, with chocolate shavings on top of the foam and a biscotti on the side, and it wasn’t too hot to drink, with a very smooth texture and wonderful flavor. The desserts were all beautifully served and very, very generous. My sundae in particular was in a tall, stemmed glass, with a ton of fresh berries over rich, creamy vanilla ice cream and drizzled with a berry sauce, topped with whipped cream and a sprig of mint. I devoured it quickly. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. My brother, who usually isn’t a big chocolate fan or sweet tooth, cleaned his plate, my uncle loved the combination of pumpkin and white chocolate gelato, but my other uncle said his tiramisu was a bit mushy. All in all, very good experience for dessert, but for the four desserts and three drinks it was $ 50. The quality, flavors, and portion size were all there, though. I’d most certainly come back for dessert.

Strizzi’s has been around for ages! Decades actually. I have really fond memories of coming here as a kid – and I still order the same thing! Probably the best fettucini Alfredo around ;) A great choice for good ol’ Italian favorites with neighborhood heart ;)

I finally came here on a whim although the ratings aren’t great. I looooove lasagna, but by the time we got out of there for lunch. my lasagna was $ 14. The lasagna is solid in flavor and size though(almost as are as my hand). This place had decent service, but there was just something very average about this restaurant. No special service, no cute napkins, nothing nothing that stood out. I felt like I was at a franchise restaurant where the napkins are worn and everyone is dressed in a uniform. I looked at the menu and wasn’t enticed to eat anything. Their lunch combination is a bit confusing because they say you get a half soup/salad with one of the choices… but then one of the choices is a salad. Not very intuitive. I probably will choose a different place next time and my disappointment is in the price vs the experience.
