Been here a few times… kid friendly(both weekend days and friday night); nice friendly vibe and the food has been pretty good. My kids love their cheese quesadilla Note: its an appetizer… would like to see it as one of their kids meals served with fries…(side note: the side of fries is more like a giant bucket of fries). I’m relatively new to the area and I’m a sandwich guy. I’m always on the hunt for the top sandwiches around. They’ve got one that now holds the #2 slot in the area: Their Buffalo Chicken Burger is FANTASTIC. wow… so tasty(side note: #1 is the Buffalo Tilapia and La Mer in Armonk). Solid all around. there’s parking, service is decent, lots of TVs, kid friendly, good options, reasonable and the food has been tasty. Thumbs up

great beer selection, nice variety of mixed drinks. I love the burgers and wraps. the fried pickles and wings are the best in the area. Staff is very friendly. the amount of TV’s are insane, you can literally watch any game that is on at the time. accomedating to familys. Good local spot. loved it during college when i went to pace, and enjoy it now whenever i head down to pleasantville.

Michaels is a dump! The food is not good and is very overpriced. $ 17 for a steak sandwich that has very little steak. The artichoke dip is terrible too. The manager is rude and clearly does not understand the meaning of customer service. I guess they don’t want repeat customers.

This is one my favorite places in all of Westchester. They have the best wings out of any place I’ve ever been too. The location is great, the staff is friendly, and overall has a relaxed vibe. The prices seem high for a bar/pub, but are completely worth it. Make sure you get the fried mac-and-cheese.

Good food, nice staff. DONOTGOTOTRIVIAWEDNESDAYS. Everyone cheats, and the moderator doesn’t bother to check for cell phones… he just sits in the corner and guzzles his free Heineken Lights. He also asks objective questions that don’t have specific answers, then doesn’t respond when you call his tired act out. Signed, Disappointed

Went here on Sat afternoon, we sat at the bar and ordered wings and burgers. The wings came out in less than 2 minutes. We suggested that maybe the wings were probably for someone else because we just placed our order. But the bartender assured us they were ours. The wings were dry and chewey as if they came out of a microwave. Then came the burger which appeared to be fresh, not frozen. But the bun overpowered the somewhat dry burger. Otherwise it is a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and customers. Come here for a drink but eat somewhere else.

Good place to watch any sporting event with a good burger and cold beer. Enjoy having boneless wings, waffle fries and the onion rings.

I’ve been going to Michael’s since the late ‘70s and have seen the restaurant go though many highs and lows in terms of quality. That said, my lunch there yesterday represented an all time low. Service is just barely passable. There is no hustle, no friendly smiles, and little interest in making sure you enjoy your experience. The food is very mediocre. But what kills me are the prices. Lunch yesterday for four people with tax and tip was $ 70! Three burgers, two soft drinks, and one kids meal. Seventy dollars! Michael’s is a flat out ripoff. I’ve had twice the burger at half the price in countless Manhattan Irish pubs. If you’re going to charge $ 13.99 for burger that doesn’t even include cheese it better be a great friggin’ burger, and this wasn’t even close. Not by a mile. I’m sad to say, yesterday’s lunch has caused me to end my nearly 36 year patronage.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and felt it time for a review. First time I ate here, I had one of their«famous» burgers and the wings. They were both quite good but at nearly $ 20 for a burger, it just wasn’t worth it. This last time, I decided to try their Shepherd’s pie along with a pint of Guinness. Now, I guess it was my mistake for not reading the description of the Shepherd’s Pie but I was dismayed at the beef being cut strips of beef rather than ground beef. On top of that, it was about half mixed frozen vegetables including corn, green beans, carrots and peas — you know, like the cheap stuff you get from the supermarket. There was also way too much gravy in the mix, making it more like a stew underneath the«mashed potato.» To top it all off, the mash was either saturated in milk or it was completely fake potato — I’m guessing fake, powdered, out of a cardboard box potato. Now if this level of mediocrity wasn’t bad enough, they charged $ 18 for this slop. For that price, they could have at least used fresh vegetables and real potato. On to the Guinness. I never got it. I got some kind of stout but that was not Guinness. The color and taste were all wrong. It was like Guinness Light(if they made such a thing) or as if someone added a few ounces of water to my pint. This combo of slop and fake stout came out to $ 25. This was my third and last visit to this so called Irish Pub. It’s a shame too as it seems no one can get the Irish Pub right, outside of the real Irish neighborhoods, like McLean Ave in Yonkers and Katonah in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx.

My mother-in-law and I walked in once for lunch. Sat down and saw $ 15-$ 20 burgers and salads. For lunch. In a sports bar. We walked right back out. I’m not cheap, but that’s ridiculous for bar food, and especially for lunch.

Spotty. Thin steak on garlic bread was tasty but overcooked. One person’s burger had another person’s fiery sauce and had to be sent back as too spicy. Folks were very nice. Burgers are HUGE. Salads very good. Will agree that the food is overpriced, 16 bucks and change for standard pub sandwiches is a bit much. OK place for now and again, I can see the locals liking for watching the games though.

Apparently they won an award in 2012 for«Best Singles Spot.» A lot of people there from the town– at times an older crowd. So I’m left to wonder where all these«singles» are. Good food though.

Solid neighborhood pub… kid-friendly…huge TVs showing local games with good retro music videos on one screen. Crowded, but no wait to sit inside. Black and Tan sandwich was very good, shrimp veggie wrap was solid and Junior’s red velvet cake was delish. Blue Moon was perfectly ice cold. Service was very good — they worked hard. We plan on returning…

Unbelievable wings for over 35 years and it’s got out of this world waitering. Also they have a special on your birthday if your under 50 that’s how many wings you get for free but ever one you don’t finish your pay for. The environment feels right with a pub like feel

This review needs to be separated into 2 categories. Food The food is pretty excellent. They have decent wings, great burgers and monster cheesesteaks. We’ve always been satisfied with the service from the wait staff and the television placement is great. Drinks & Bar This is wear Michaels kind of falls apart. At night, they have a decent nightlife scene but this is Pleasantville. Not Manhattan. Charging a cover charge is outrageous, especially when it ranges from $ 5 to $ 10 depending on the night. Also, the bartenders aren’t great. I’ve been served Bacardi and Coke when I’ve specifically asked for Captain numerous times and for a Westchester bar, the beer selection is abysmal. Finally, I’ve been charged different prices for the same drink more times than I can count. Decent food but the bar leaves a lot to be desired.

Solid food for years and years. I love their salads, which have MANY components. I truly believe that their blue cheese dressing is the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere… Eh. It’s often loud, and if you come here on a weekend evening, as you’re enjoying the meal, the restaurant turns into a club around you. Which is annoying. In the summer, you can eat outside under big umbrellas. Lovely! Though lots of bees…

Family loves the place. Food is tasty. First time we were there they had an onion ring tower special that had pulled pork in it. superb. I have had the cheesesteak, wings, fries etc. Its pub food, but very good pub food. Wings are a good size and tasty. They”ll mix flavors for you if you want to make your own combination. I like hot with flavor too so i mix the beer flavor(black and tan i think) with hot an its very tasty. Kids loved the hotdogs and waffle fries.
