I credit the return of range of motion and strength after complete shoulder replacement surgery to the conservative care of the entire staff of BHSSR in Plymouth. The work was very hard but the staff were gentle, persistent, and encouraging. It is often the plight of a person suffering from an injury or recovering from surgery to feel depressed. The folks at BHSSR s are cheerfull and supportive, always emphasizing how far I had come rather than how far I had yet to go to reach their goals and mine.
I returned to Plymouth BHSSR for help increasing strength and range of motion in one hip in order to postpone replacement of that joint as long as possible. And I plan to return to Plymouth BHSSR for post-​operative PT when that replacement does happen.
I am confident that by continuing to work at home with the exercise programs provided for both joints I will only continue to improve. Need proof? I shoveled snow today – 1/​24/​2016– for half-​an-​hour with no discomfort or ill effects!
