Kennedy Vision Health Center

I have seen Dr. Traverse multiple times for different eye issues and have been extremely pleased with the level of care, medical knowledge and professionalism of him and his staff. The facility is beautiful and clean, the technology is up-​to-​date and the experience is exceptional! I would highly highly recommend Kennedy vision health center

I was told that my glasses would be replaced if damaged/​broken at time of purchase. I specifically asked what damaged/​broken meant. The staff said that as long as I had pieces of the frames/​glasses, the frames/​glasses would be replaced. I brought my broken glasses. The staff said no and tried to sell me another pair right away.

I cannot begin to say enough about the associates that work at Kennedy Vision HC. I started going there primarily as they are approved under my Lasik program and I was in need of some reading/​computer glasses. Angel, the optician, understood that I have wider face and was extremely patient with me as I proceeded to try on and reject many cute pairs of glasses until we found the ones that were «just right.» I ended up going back for my annual exam, and was extremely pleased with Dr. Traverse. I always thought the eye exam was a little subjective to how tired my eyes were, or what time of day the appointment was at, or how much of the previous line I could remember and recite, but the way he conducted his exam, and the equipment they use, took all of that away. He switched the cards when switching from eye to eye. And after hearing about the eye strain I was experiencing (post-​Lasik mind you) he offered a completely different opinion from that of all the other eye doctors I have seen over the last 5 years (including those where I received my Lasik procedure.) I used to be near-​sighted, and within a few years after Lasik I began feeling eye strain after long workdays. Dr. Traverse suggested that rather than fill my lens prescription with one for near-​sightedness, to instead fill it for far-​sightedness. It was a stroke of ingenuity. I used to wear my old computer glasses everyday. Now I only have to use the far-​sighted ones every once in awhile.
The facility is state of the art and the employees and their expertise are why I plan to go back even though they are not covered under my current eye insurance plan. Yes, they are that awesome that I am willing to pay out of network prices.

I have been to Kennedy Vision twice so far.
The doctors are great in explaining details about the process and test results.
They were very clear about what is necessary for a good vision and what is optional while looking for lenses. There was no sales push for costlier lenses, but a genuine effort to let us pick up what is right for us keeping in mind the insurance and our preferences and lifesytle.
