Wow! What a horrible store! You walk in and it’s packed with STUFF! You struggle to find anything(in my case a bridle) and you turn hopefully to the two people behind the counter. But one leaps her feet and immediately rushes off with the seven dogs that she has hidden behind the counter… The other immediately gets on the phone and chats with a friend. You finally find the bridles.!They are literally 5 feet from the chatting on the phone with her friend person and she ignores you, despite the fact that you are desperately trying to sort through a mass of about 40 bridles hung on the wall… When, after more than ten minutes, you finally give up, the person gets off the phone and asks you if you were able to find what you wanted. When you say no, she doesn’t answer. Go to Concord feed for all your horse needs. They are super nice and super helpful.

Love this place! Aside from the owner trailing us around the store in some weird stalker way, once we paid him for our bit & lead he seamed to be much friendlier and there hasn’t been any other incidents… Who knows maybe er weren’t looking like horse owners lol. Outside of that, they have an awesome selection of shoes and other misc items, it’s a fun store to browse but expect a trailer!

Love this place! I’m not an equestrian by any measure but I love that this store exists and specializes in goodies for hanging out with horsies. All sorts of cool things reside in this store, and all very high quality, and a very good selection. Somehow, I judge a community based on its ‘main street’ sorts of stores, and this little store on the Point Reyes ‘Main street’ along with the other cool establishments shows me some of the true character of the area, and it really just seems like a cool, outdoorsy, gusty ethical A+ sort of place:)

Pt. Reyes truly has a treasure of best stores around. Cabaline’s is hard to describe. It looks like a tack/horse store — but go inside — they have so much more. An amazing selection of outdoor clothing and shoes. I found a pair of $ 225MBT walkers on their sale table for $ 90 and bought them — BUT — I left them on a table across the street when my dog slipped her collar. In the hectic chase I forgot that I set down my shoe box. The next week I got an email at my school from one of the Cabaline clerks asking if I left a pair of shoes at Toby’s!!! YES! And I got them back — what amazing service! The people in the store are so friendly. They have a great collection of specialty toys, backpacks, and of course all the tack and horse gear you might need(silver buckle belts anyone?). I bought some very affordable earrings and a carved totem of a fox — carvings and native sculpture is one of their specialties. Stop inside and check out this treasure of a store. They always have a sale table out front with great finds.

I still love love this store. On my most recent visit I bought this great shirt I found on display. I loved the purple color and the way is draped. I’m not into the latest cuts of women’s tops –«princess cuts» —that assume that most women have waists that are ten inches smaller than their boobs. My not slim body was overjoyed to find this top from the“Cut Loose” collection. It’s now one of my favorite tops! They still sell marvelous earrings, socks, sleepwear, men’s and women’s clothing, equestrian clothing, horse grooming tools, books and toys for kids(including a doll horse doctor), kitchen towels, the cutest and cleverest salt and pepper shakers, and more!

Neat shop to waste time in. There’s quite an odd selection of mechandise, just like an old-time emporium would carry. You can buy a riding crop, a stuffed animal and a pair of earrings all at the same time.

This is another store in which to spend a rainy afternoon. They have so many treasures tucked away in there. All kinds of clothes and baubles, a surprising number of cute shoes, toys for the kids, equestrian hats, bridles, barnyard implements of all varieties, etc. etc. etc. I finally got those cowboy boots I’d been wanting. Hoo doggies! Bonus: Spend $ 200 and get a knife! Or a tote bag. Sissy.
