Nestled adjacent to the heart of old town Pomona is Memorial park. It’s not a large park but for the area it suits the size. One of the great things about this park is it does cater to dogs being that it has doggy bags and trash cans. That’s also one of the downsides, most people don’t clean up after their animals which is a damm shame.
The park has two half basketball courts, a sand and play area with jungle gyms and swings for the kids and a few benches and tables for seating. It’s got a nice sized parking lot and enough grass and trees to relax under. I usually come here when I make a trip over to IE Photo rentals with my dog and let him run around.
All in all this is a good park for the area. People please clean up your dogs poo!
