Acquaviva Anthony Furniture Service

I had furniture repaired by Acquaviva. One piece came back nicely done but two nightstands and my platform to my bed had to be sent back a second time because they weren’t repaired and refinished thoroughly.
I was very surprised with the initial quality of work because upon my initial meeting with Steve, the owner, I had a lot of confidence.
On top of being without my nightstands, and having to use boxes in their place while they were being repaired, when Aquaviva’s men were re delivering my bed platform which also had to be refinished a second time, so we were also sleeping on the mattress on the floor, they tore a painting of mine and are refusing to acknowledge it and of course refusing to pay for the repair.
Mistakes happen and damage happen but not to trust a client like myself who was patient with the redo’s and paid immediately when I got my pieces, is not right. Steve is denying he did any damage yet his men were the only delivery we had and the tear is at the top of the painting 5 feet above the stairwell. Only the large platform bed could have done that and I had heard a loud noise when they were bringing the platform upstairs. I just didn’t think to look at the painting until afterwards.
If he would make his wrongs right I would probably recommend Acquaviva but I would say stay away from the experience I am having with him over the rip in my sentimental painting that my uncle painted and has since passed away.
I would have been a good client also as I have a lot of things I wanted refurbished. I am very disappointed and upset. I did nothing wrong and yet, I am left with a damaged painting from his men one of which was his son.

Wonderful service, fast, friendly and knowledgeable!!! My recliner was fixed in less than 15 minutes!!! Very professional!!! What a sense of relief to have service like that!!!
