What a great little place, fresh food cooked with love and creativity. My girls had turkey burgers on pretzel rolls and raved about them. My hubby had the turkey and provolone with lingonberry preserves… wow, taste explosion! Check this place out, it is a gem!

To be fair, I only went to Café Brie for take out, but I have to confess that I was pretty disappointed by this local, four and a half star rated establishment. After an afternoon at a nearby hair salon I went in at 4pm for a sandwich. I was starving and actually excited to try a new place with such stellar reviews. I ordered the Goat Cheese with Fig Preserves on Rosemary Bread. The server was friendly. I thought I might have heard him mention that it would take 10 minutes. 10 minutes for one sandwich? A little longer than I would have liked, but I was willing to wait for this highly accoladed sandwich. 25 minutes later I am still waiting… and waiting. When I went up to the counter to ask about my order the staff said there had been 4 orders ahead of mine… and it still wasn’t ready. I was ready to walk out. Only then did my sandwich get made. There was a recent Unilocal talk thread that discussed reviewing places according the experience they are supposed to provide. So I will only take off one star for the horrendous service as this obviously is not a place for a quick bite. Even so, there is no way it should take 30 minutes to provide one sandwich, especially when it is at an off hour. The other stars are are taken off is because I thought the sandwich was terrible. The texture of this grilled cheese was mealy. There really wasn’t enough cheese on the bread to go with the huge amount of bread. One bad sandwich however, does not necessarily close the gate on a restaurant for me. I know this place is Mom and Pop owned so I am rooting for them. There are a few other menu items that do look enticing. If in the area I would try Café Brie again to give them a chance to redeem themselves-but only if I had plenty of time to spare!

Tiny but powerful. Personalized, warm and welcoming service: made-to-order scrumptious omelet with careful attention to dietary allergies. Special cantaloupe cut open just for our party. Lovely selection of craft beers. Sparkling clean interior. Kind of like going to your Mom’s restaurant; Mom really loves you and wants to take care of you and make you happy. Ample parking nearby. Eager to return.

A few weeks ago, I was searching for a lunch place to take my bridal party after getting pampered the day before my wedding. The reviews on Unilocal helped me decide on Café Brie. Although the seating is limited, the staff made room for 5 people. Once they heard about the upcoming wedding, they brought out a bottle of champagne on the house!(Granted, this probably doesn’t happen on a daily basis, but we thought this was a very nice gesture). We ordered lunch and were told it may take a little extra time because they just had a huge order called in. That was no bother to us, but it was nice to know. I ordered the fig and goat cheese sandwich, which was absolutely delicious(most other reviews rave about it, and it’s truly amazing). My bridesmaids ordered the chicken salad, which they said was also delicious. I was so happy to find this place. They are very friendly and take their business seriously. I look forward to visiting again.

Café Brie is a hidden gem! We walked from Pompano Beach over the bridge to get here and didn’t regret deciding to eat lunch here! :) We had the Goat Cheese with fig sandwich, Fresh cut prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich, and the tuna salad and all meals were fantastic. Even the salad was served with yummy extras like delicious olives, sweet peppers and cherry japapenos. Myself and my parents really appreciated the great service too. Friendly staff and lovely little outdoor dining space. We will definitely be back before the end of our vacation!

First time coming for breakfast. I was excited to come here due to all the rave reviews about the service and quality of the food. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience as many others. Our server was not particularly very engaging and the coffee I ordered came out half full in a small clear glass. I did not receive a refill the whole time I was there, and once the order was taken and food was delivered no one stopped by to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. Even when we paid no one asked how we enjoyed our meal. My wife didn’t like the hash browns and I tried them and felt the same way. 2 eggs is 2 eggs not much to say about that. The whitefish on a bagel was very good and I did enjoy that. The food was okay but nothing memorable and the service in my opinion, especially for a small restaurant left a lot to be desired.

This place is really a gem and it’s got all the necessary ingredients for a great dining experience Went for brunch with two friends and we shared three things. The Royal omlette, the bagel with whitefish and the fig and goat sandwich. The coffee is above par and they bring you steamed milk if you want. The service is fabulous. Jonathan and Steve(son and father) run the place and make sure you’re a happy camper. They brought us some extra stuff just to try since it was our first time. Would love to go back. Yes maybe very soon. Mmmmmmmm…

We ate here twice one week while on vacation because their food and flavors reminded us of home. But what really brought us back was the coffee. Probably the best coffee in the area! We had the privilege of chatting with one of the owners, who is a self proclaimed, «coffee snob». Which confirms what I said earlier about the coffee being delish. Additionally, they have a selection of teas, which they steep for you. So like coffee, they take tea very seriously as well. It felt good to eat local and learn the history behind Café Brie. We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu next time we’re in town.

We stopped by on our last day for breakfast. While sitting outside, we started with the cup of delicious Nespresso, which is a treat in itself. It seems that omelet is an omelet is an omelet — what can be special about omelet, right? Well, if you travel enough, you know perfectly well that bad omelet happens. The Royal Omelet at Café Brie was superb — perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned — just delicious. It was accompanied by the tiny red super-sweet Peruvian peppers, which made it even better. 3 eggs with bacon and cheese were also very tasty. I have to note that the prices are hard to beat Excellent, very friendly and prompt service. Most highly recommended recommended.

Amazing sandwiches, better than Ike’s Place in SF if you’ve ever been there. Ask the staff for recommendations, we went with those and they are so amazing that we want to have every meal of our vacation here. Highly recommended: — The Cuban — Pot Roast — Roast Beef — Goat Cheese and Fig(«tastes like Christmas») The«macaroni salad» is not like any macaroni salad you’ve ever had either, it’s definitely not like Hawaiian macaroni salad with mayo. It’s more like a pasta salad and it’s amazing. Our group also raved about the Tabañero hot sauce, which they sell bottles of here and we probably will buy a few… Great service and very reasonable pricing too! Great find on Unilocal

WOW! We where in the area and had seen the great reviews, so we decided to stop by. So glad we did. Robert took care of us, had an amazing menu presentation, and we ended up ordering two of his suggestions. The Goat cheese and fig was amazing(can’t go wrong when there’s bacon on it). My boyfriend got the special which was roast with horseradish cheddar, also fantastic. We are both sticklers for good bread for our sandwiches, and they knocked it out of the park. Very impressed with the service and food. I can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast!

Small local mom and pop shop offering a large variety of specialty sandwiches, salads, cakes, pies, pastries and coffee. They offer Boars Head meats, a large variety of cheeses and everything is prepared fresh to order. The restaurant is small with just a few tables inside and a few more outside, the restaurant is clean and service is very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. I had a brie cheese sandwich with fig preserve and a slight spicy spread was absolutely delicious.

Café Brie is one of those super«you wouldn’t guess from the outside» little friendly mom and pop gems where the mom and pop care about the food they serve, putting that extra measure of effort into what they serve that makes it so much more tasty and good; a measure that chain or hired employee outlets could never achieve. I just happened into the area on a Sunday afternoon and with me hungry and so many places being closed, checked out my Unilocal app and noting it with really top four and five star reviews decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did. It’s a smallish place, but located within a relatively new structure, spotlessly clean inside with some inside tables and chairs as well as a large patio like eating area outside by the parking lot. When I walked in I was immediately given a warm and friendly greeting, checked over their menu and ordered a corned beef and pastrami with Gouda cheese, spread over with mustard, in a 9 inch bread loaf along with their accompanying side of salad choice with Italian dressing, $ 11.49. When served it came stacked with top quality super lean thin cut meats which when couple with the Gouda, fresh bread loaf and even spread of mustard was totally delicious; nearly Carnegie Deli like but at less than half the Carnegie price. The little side salad was also not your small deli typical in that the greens were totally fresh, contained several good slices of tomato, some red onion, even had some mushroom in it with the Italian dressing being full bodied. So, for a super friendly atmosphere along with some of the better more tasty foods, Café Brie makes a great stop by place to visit.
