Mack’s Cafe

I moved into the area and have been trying different places.
I came upon Mack’s while walking my dog, baby,
I had low expectations based on the center.
Boy was I wrong
Lovely and clean interior, TV with local news, welcome hello.
I got the French toast special.
It was very good and the bacon tasted much like a better cut, not fatty or greasy.
This will be my go to place now for breakfast.
I’ll try lunch next time.
The prices were very good and I got a couple candies on the bill plate, nice touch

The things I find out just because there is no menu found on the Internet. 5 Page deep Google search, Nothing, so I got in my car and drove to check Mack’s out. They are tucked away in the very back right hand corner of the Sample Plaza. I was greeted by Ingrid who is the owner from Hamburg Germany. Mack’s has been open for 10 + years. Since it was my 1^st time here my eyes were wondering all over the place and my first impressions were good. Very Clean nicely decorated restaurant. I ordered the Big Breakfast Sampler — 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, 2 Sausage links, Ham, Hash Browns and Rye Toast & Coffee. The Coffee was perfect. Great Taste. Loved it. The meal came and I couldn’t believe the size of the plate and all the food on it. They use old school high quality dinner plates like you would see in a fancy steakhouse. The silverware was of great quality too. The best part was the taste and quality product used to serve this fine breakfast. Mack’s Café is definitely a hidden Gem. Literally. I will definitely be back soon. Last but not least in my google search findings I see they received «0» Violations on their last restaurant inspection. This is a Huge plus and a must try spot for a great breakfast.

Staff friendly and attentive — food ok — for some reason it took quite awhile for my ham and cheese omelette to arrive, place not busy, also home fries a little greasy.
FYI — there is no WIFI

I eat here all the time. The prices and the food are great. It is a very friendly neighborhood café. A hidden gem.
