Congested and dirty. I think they stick their most miserable employees here. It appears that they all hate their jobs and toss your groceries around. I have not once been greeted here by anyone like at the other Publix in the area. Drive a mile up to the LHP location.

I work at a small business less then 3 minutes away from this Publix. My coworkers and I love to get lunch here because Publix makes some of the best damn food around. BUT, THISPUBLIXISBEYONDHORRIBLE. THEEMPHASISONBEYOND. Remember that I have been to this publix more then 30 times. EVERYTIMEISTHESAMERESULT. The main complaint I have about this place is the Deli, that is usually the only reason why I am at this publix. Everytime I have gone there I have waited forever. I usually go there between 12 – 2 which is peak lunch time. Therefore you would expect the staff to be ready for that. There is ALWAYS a line everytime I go, which I expect. The problem occurs when there are 10 people in line, all getting multiple subs for their offices, and there’s only 1 or 2 people making subs. Usually 1. There is not 1 employee in that deli that tries to hurry and handle the rush, they ALLTAKETHEIRSWEETASSTIME! They obviously do not care about their jobs. So eventually I began ordering my subs online prior to when I go. GUESSWHAT? NEVERREADYWHEN I GETTHERE. Here is the story about one of my previous two visits. I ordered one sub online to be ready at 1:00pm. I went inside the Publix at 1:05pm and it was not ready. I decided to walk around for a few minutes and give them some extra time. At 1:20 I had enough and stood in line for another 20 minutes to have them make my sub. The manager finally came and helped out the one person making subs, I was lucky enough to be next in line at this point. Told the manager what happened, she rolled her eyes, and said they’re busy. Never once said sorry or tried to make the situation right. Then when he handed my sub I asked her to get me a small side of the hot food next to it, she proceeded to tell me that I have to go over there and get in line. So I did, waited another 10 minutes. I got back to work at 1:50. So i spent almost a entire hour at Publix trying to get lunch. Rude employees Rude Managers Lack of effort from both order is constantly not ready when ordered online; and is usually wrong when it is. This place has to be run by a complete idiot. This store gives Publix a bad name. Also, I said before the employees don’t care about their jobs. Well that’s management doesn’t care how they perform. The Deli Managers are always around looking at how awful everyone’s service is and don’t do 1 thing about it. I COULDCONTINUEANDWRITEFORDAYS, BUT I THINKYOUGETTHEPOINT. Worst deli department. Rude associates, 5 people behind the counter who never spoke a word to customers waiting to order subs. We left without subs and went to the publix at sample and Federal.

This was a smaller publix, however everyone was still friendly. It was clean and we found everything we wanted. No issues here!

Compared to the stellar service and diverse selection at other Publix locations, this Publix is the worst. Also, many of the employees have an attitude, they are in no hurry to assist and have a you are bothering me attitude, especially the cashiers, definitely not the standard Publix courtesy. This location is small therefor lacking the normal vast selection available at other locations, but this Publix is also dark and in need of a renovation and employee training.

Another deli complaint. They should all be fired. While the meat and seafood department are always on top of things, the people in the deli just couldn’t care less. And while Publix has some of the best deli fried chicken, don’t waste your time trying to get it here. Unlike the Publix on Sample and Federal when the chicken comes up from the fryer they just leave it there and will box it if you want some or when they get around to it in their own sweet time. I have personally seen chicken sit there for over an hour unboxed. Nothing more yummy than cold fried chicken that has been sitting out. Don’t waste your time speaking to the deli employees or the manager, I’ve tried both and nothing changes. So despite living right around the corner from this publix I will drive to the one on sample and federal if I feel like fried chicken. But usually I just decide on something else and end up in the Chic Fil A drive through. It would also be nice if the checker and baggers would have their conversation in English. If I wanted the Port Au Prince experience I could shop at Winn Dixie. Most definitely not the typical Publix experience.

The only reason I give it a four start is because the friendly service. Here in Pompano or lighthouse point visiting my aunt for her bday and my lastnight. We stop at publix in this plaza for a cake and goodies. The Publix is set up extremely weird not what we are use to. Anyway we get our cake get it wrote on the lady did great then we got all our stuff for a classic and strawberry margaritas. Oh and so Yingling(I think thats what its called). It was stupid expensive for like 5⁄6 items but its Publix ive already spoke on how much they are. Then we hit the liquor store in the same plaza for our tequila. Everything was bought and was a success.

convenient. It is a very small publix but they still have what you need. .. . most of the time.

Okay, this place isn’t as horrible as Michelle stated, but it’s no magically wonderful place to shop and definitely doesn’t meet the tagline of Publix«where shopping is a pleasure». Biggest problem here is size. It’s a full sized Publix shoved into a mini-Publix. Originally this was going to be a special gourmet/high-end Publix, but somewhere along the line the upper brass must’ve killed off that idea and we got this instead. The aisles are tight, the layout is completely different than nearby local stores. Check out lines are over-crowded and affect the ability to go from lane to lane shopping. Granted, they have most of the stuff of a regular Publix, so it’s a great place to swing in to grab stuff, unless the lines are insane. They do support the local schools and there aren’t nearly as many elderly annoying aisle cloggers as in most stores. It is what it is, a small Publix which ends up helping to abate the crowding of the full sized Publix that’s 15 streets north.

This publix is in serious need of new employees. There are never any people to bag your groceries meaning you either have to bag them yourself or wait in line longer while the checker does it. The real reason for my review is the deli department. The people who work in the deli act like you are asking them to walk over an erupting volcano when you want a sandwich. Experience 1: I ask for a whole chicken finger sub. ½ chicken fingers, cheddar, honey mustard. ½ chicken fingers, mayo. I had to repeat this at least 8 times and the woman was still confused. The woman next to her making another sub(made 3 in the time it took this woman to make my 1 sub) was getting frustrated and kept saying«she already told you, just mayonnaise». Annoying. Experience 2: I am waiting behind 1 guy to get a sub. 3 people at the deli(me, the other sub guy, and a guy wanting something from the hot section). The woman finishes the one guys sub, then comes to me. I say that the other guy was ahead of me so she helps him. Then, instead of coming right back to take my order, she continues to help an entire lawn company get their hot section items as well as 2 other people(about 8 people total). So, as I am waiting for her to come back to me, I see the assistant manager Marc Z. He is putting some of the chickens in the rotisserie, but keeps looking at me. He had already seen that I was waiting there while I was in line, but did he help me? No. Did he say«it will be just a minute»? No. Did he tell the woman that I had been waiting before all those other people? No. My family has had so many issues with this deli section. People not wanting to make a sandwich because the grill had been cleaned(too early), having to walk out without a sub after waiting for 10 minutes while workers talked to each other in another language rather than helping people, etc, etc. The management at this store needs to talk to their employees and let them know that the customer comes first!
