Sawgrass Players Club

5K (3.1 miles) in 43 minutes this has been my fastest time since surgery. It didn’t hurt that it was a beautiful day and walking path was dry and not too many people took advantage of the sunny and a tad cool morning.

Sawgrass Players Club is a gated community in the heart of Ponte Vedra. It’s been around as long as I can remember (and probably before I was even a thought). It’s a great neighborhood to raise a family and is very kid friendly. Each little ‘neighborhood’ within the gates of Sawgrass has it’s own charm & style.
Young families raising toddlers. Families with teenagers. Retirees living in Vicar’s Landing (
). For the active members, they have a pool, tennis courts and a couple golf courses. Including the famous TPC Tournament course. .
The security guards are friendly and do a good job at remembering faces when you’re there as often as I am. And don’t worry — just because they have security guards does not mean that it’s all mansions and unaffordable dreams. They have a variety of styles & houses to suit even the modest budget.

For sheer beauty and architecture, this is outstanding. You’ll have to open your wallet wide for everything from food to drink to entertainment and you’ll get what you paid for. Class act.
