Important information to know— This location is inside the Target. I am obviously a fan of Starbuck’s in general. Only two were showing up in this area and neither note that they are inside other businesses, so keep that in mind if you are here like I was literally searching for one nearby. Everything was offered like at the usual freestanding Starbucks. Quick, friendly and no line. So a win!

I’m going to agree, if the baristas at this location don’t know you, they act as if you’re an inconvenience. Typical mall workers is right. Been to this location a few times, same thing. Gossiping intently with one of their buddy’s and you can hear all the ridiculous details. Don’t want to hear it, please just make my drink and give me a fake smile while you hand me my drink. Starbuck’s needs to work on their employees with bad attitudes. Drinks are expensive. Sorry you hate your job. Go to college at night and get an education.

The barristas are much warmer if they know you; but they don’t seem to want to work — typical mall associates. At least the drinks were made properly. I will return here whenever I have a need for caffeine and am too far away from the Kings Highway location.

Ah, yes, the 2nd Starbucks in Port Charlotte. And it definitely is second best. On vacation, I needed to supply my addiction of lattes from Starbucks, so I searched on my VZ Navigator and it came up with two. This location and the one at the Target across the highway. So, when I walked into Port Charlotte Town Center, I found this location and decided to not hit my usual spot. When I walked in, there was no warm welcome. There was no friendliness behind the counter. They definitely made me feel right at home, as if I was back up North with the rude & cold locals. The coffee was made correctly and the barristas did say thank you, so for that, they get a two-star rating. However, if you are looking for a warm smile & a great cup of coffee from the capital S, go across Tamiami Trail, and hit the Target one. Keep this one for the kids that hang out at the mall.
