It’s strange that this place has the name of a bakery yet it serves such great steak. It’s like a fast food steak house. You tell them how much you want and then you pay by the weight of the plate. They also have a buffet with a variety of different side dishes to load up on. This is a really great option if you feel like you want some steak for lunch but don’t want to spend the time or money required to go to a traditional steak house restaurant.

A great spot that is just off Route 1 in downtown PC. For me, it was the bakery portion that I stopped in for. And I was very satisfied with the banana cake bread that I got. It was perfectly moist with a sweet, rich topping that you could see slices of banana in, mmm. Will stop back here for some lunch in the future.

I first came here because I was interested in the Brazilian culture of Port Chester. I had been to Brazil numerous times and was not able to find a place that was decent in quality and price. One of the problems is too much food. If I’m diet conscious I cannot eat at the all you can eat Brazilian places. New York City has many expensive great choices. My favorite is churrascaria plattaforma but the amount of food and cost 125 U.S. Per person for a dinner is a little prohibitive. Similarly I live in Long Island and there is a fantastic rodizio called barraida which again is excellent which requires a commitment. With drink and food and tip the lunch costs about 75 per person, and it again is too much food. There is no small Portuguese Brazilian place that I can find in Long Island. Enter this place, which has a great meal for a good price. About 15 U.S. I get my fix, don’t overeat and have a excellent lunch. I travel from Long Island to near the Connecticut border because the place is so good and such a nice value. I highly recommend this place. Muitos obrigados.

Excellence food, nice people working there. The only problem is the very small place and it gives you a hard time to find a place to sit on the weekends for lunch. But it is completely worthy! The cakes for desert are great!

A co-worker had been telling me about it for months & I finally tried it out with my daughter. I’m definitely a fan! My fiancé went by my recommendation & tried it out too. He’s there at least 3 times a week! Loves it. My only complaint was one time… the meat lacked flavor one night & the stuff on the buffet isn’t hot enough. Sometimes, even cold when the item should be served warm/hot. Other than that, it’s definitely a place I will eat at regularly!

Be careful, if your not a local Brazilian they will overcharge you. Menu clearly states 8.99 for buffet and BBQ, yet I was charges 12.99 for this option. To top it off, I asked before I grabbed my plate how it works and they directed me to grab a plate load up and then add meat to the plate. Then, last second they separated the plate and charged a higher amount. When I pointed it out they agreed the price was incorrect, yanked down their menu and proceeded to change the price, yet would not refund the difference. Grabbed a pic of menu(before they changed) I will attempted to post. Ok, now the food. Entered at 11:55, thinking before the rush and thought the freshest options. I was greeted with dry and stringy overlooked meat, wet and soggy fries and lifeless, pre-dressed salad from the night before. Gross. All this for a $ 14.00 a plate. Yuck! Avoid!!!

YUM! Best steak I have ever had. The garlic sirloin is a mouthgasm. I found this place sort of by accident when I was hunting for Brazilian pastries to take to a bbq my Brazilian friend was hosting. I got the pastries here and everyone at the party raved about how great they were. I was also starving when I came here to pick up the pastries so I decided to get some food. Best decision ever, bc now this place is one my favs. They have an awesome buffet with lots of salad, veggies, rice, beans, etc that you load up on, then you go over to the meat counter and order your churrasco(open flame rotisserie). You pay by weight. Self-serve. No waiters. If you are confused just ask at the register and they will tell you what to do. Delicious. Cheap. Authentic. Atmosphere leaves a little something to be desired… it almost feels like a school cafeteria. Looks sort of dumpy/scary from the outside. But get over it! The food is excellent. It is sometimes hard to find parking, but you can always park in the train station lot around the corner, just dont forget to pay at the meter!

The Skirt steak they have is the BEST steak I ever ate. It is DELICIOUS. Their other meat is not bad, but that steak is just mouth melting. Prices are good. I recommend this.

I’ve lived in port chester for five years and it took me four years to stumble across this gem. I’ve seen it so many times but it isn’t that appealing from the outside. Blacked out windows with BBQ printed on the outside. One day my buddy and I decided to try it out and I was not disappointed. The have a great salad bar and a ton of different Brazilian steakhouse type meats rotating on the spits. Everything is weighed up at the register and everything is cooked to perfection. All the meat is seasoned very simply but you get all of the great natural flavors from the cooking process. It’s a great place to stop for lunch once in a while because it’s easy to get carried away and fill that plate up with some beef ribs and sausage. It’s a great way to get the food of a Brazilian steakhouse without sitting for two hours and feeling disgusting.

Great food, amazing price(low). The buffet is great and enough for a meal but take it to the next level by stepping up to the counter to select from about a half dozen rotisserie meats. Brisket was excellent. Note that with the great food an low price does come with more of a deli/cafeteria atmosphere.

Great Brazilian food. The churrasco is exceptional and the veriety of food available in the buffet is enough to accommodate the likings of all. The food is always on point and the price is fair. Usually 10 bucks for a large dish with the meats of your choice. Great place and highly recommended

This place was a big«secret» with my co-workers for a while. They didn’t even know the name of this place so I had to go investigate on my own. I can truly say I’m now an official fan ! I love it, it’s simple and just GOOD !

My husband has been bugging me about wanting feijouada for as long as we’ve been married and I’ve even looked up recipes for it(since I am such a great wife). Well, after some research I realized that I can’t make this dish without even tasting it and not knowing anything about it. Anyways so I find this restaurant on Unilocal and take my husband and our two kids there for dinner. The buffet wasn’t huge but they had really good chicken, rice, collard greens and the dish o fthe hour: feijouada. We also got picanha and guarana and two other beverages… O yes and the most delicious chocolate-coconut cookies that my 2year old son grabbed. The feijouada was legitimately very good and so were the other dishes from the buffet. But the picanha was really very very good. My husband just went to plata forma in nyc last week ans he said the picanha at IBBC that he had today was better. Yum yum. And altogether our entire bill came out to $ 22! Everyone was so extremely friendly and like the other reviewers said, it’s truly a family-oriented self serve restaurant with excellent food. We are definitely coming back here and seriously we are soooo glad ti have found this gem.

I wanted this place to be so awesome but I was disappointed by the food. They had all my favorites so I got rice, beans and salad from the buffet, salgados and some snacks. The salgados were very heavy and not as fresh as I would have liked. The buffet was good. The staff were super friendly and the prices were fair. Parking was very challenging but after about 10 minutes I found a space. Overall it is an ok place.

Best tasting churrasco(open flame rotisserie) steak anywhere!!! I have been to dozens of steakhouses and bbq joints all over the country and this place is at the top of my list for flavor and price(tons of food for less than $ 10 a plate). It is very family oriented and it has a buffet of sides that change every day(typically they will have beans, rice, potatoe salad, vegetable salad, and even pastas). Once you have added the sides of your choice to you plate, you have a selection of any of their delicious cuts of meat straight off of the churrasco grill on skewers… skirt steak, garlic sirloin, beef ribs, bacon-wrapped chicken, and portoguese sausage to name a few. The skirt steak never disappoints and all of the grilled meats have more flavor and moisture than any other meat I have tasted in my life. Food is charged by weight so anyone you go with can choose as much or as little as they like. I have gone here around 2 – 3 times a week and I never have gotten tired of it. MUSTGO!!!

excellent, well prepared sides, full salad bar and steam table with starches, veggies, and fruit, great bbq/meat selection, I recc. the shell steak — although you dont want it well done… all the meats are worthy of a try chicken was really good as were the deserts we got from the bakery section. family style seating, serve yourself, real neighborhood feel, albeit a neighborhood from brazil… which is not my hood… fun! the staff is great, told us what the deal was and how to navigate the place… so — all in all — a home run, a real adventure — great food– — reasonable prices — all stack up to a very good experience — I will go back, for sure
