Food is decent, however the waiter we had was extremely rude and he completely ruined our dining experience. Not only did they have a poor wine selection, but the waiter could not have been less knowledgable about the two options served by the glass or anything on the wine list. I was told they would not do substitutions on the dishes. We will never go back.

I am in shock that the NY Time found this place worthy of a mention. Surly, amateur server dressed in lycra workout pants (did you shower after hitting the gym?) Perhaps a manager with experience in service and hospitality would help but sadly, nothing short of firing the kitchen staff and rewriting their «authentic Roman» menu could change the dining portion: The food was TERRIBLE — bland, flavorless, uninspired cooking that would work really well at a nursing home. There are too many good restaurants in the area to waste your time here.

Update on my previous review. This is my third time going here, the past two times have been great, but the menu has changed. I had the Prosciutto Truffle for an app which was good. Then we had the Skirt Steak special which I ordered medium rare, and came out medium well, also the Gnocchi Pesto we ordered was under cooked. I expected better, maybe an off night. Seems that it might be a little over priced now. I will give it another shot.

Everything about this place is amazing! The food is to die for!!! Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been delicious! There is always daily specials too. My favorite dish I have to say is the gnocchi pesto.

New place. Needs to work out some major details. Will come back to see how things are going in a few weeks. Female Bartender was polite and was trying but I could not overlook quality of the food and the level of service. If this was a pizzeria I would have given it an extra star but this place is listed as a restaurant so this is my rating

This place was UNBELIEVABLE. EVERYTHING was on point from 1) the food, 2) the ambiance, 3) the music. I had the best shrimp scampi or ‘shrimp gamberini’ they call it, that I’ve ever had. And I am a SCAMPI SNOB. The sauce was just the right amount of cream, lemon and butter, emphasis on the BUTTER. So much delicious butter… Mmm.
We also had the braised beef ravioli, which was an interesting concept. It was in a very rich cream sauce, the ravioli was light and delicate in flavor inside, it wasn’t as heavy as I expected. It was great. We also had the homemade meatballs, the prosciutto with arugula, honey truffle and mozzarella cheese… YUM. The eggplant with fried dough underneath was cooked to perfection, blanketed in thick gooey cheese and complemented perfectly by the fried flavor of the dough underneath. I totally recommend this place! We’d come back all the time if we didn’t leave in Boston!

Went here for the first time tonight, although my parents and sister have been going regularly for months. It was DELICIOUS! Some dishes at our table tonight included fried zucchini (not even on the menu, but Stefano took such great care of us), rice balls, a custom-made salad, chicken with prosciutto, linguine with shrimp in a lemon sauce, homemade rigatoni with marinara and finally short rib ravioli with a truffle cream sauce. Everything was outstanding and even my young kids (ages 7 and 9) ate well and enjoyed everything. This is a quaint, neighborhood spot with an authentic Italian chef, innovative menu along with classics that won’t disappoint. We will definitely be back!

I ordered skirt steak with broccoli rape and roasted potatoes and my boyfriend ordered pollo prosciutto. Portions were a joke. So small. Smaller than in a finest restaurant. Disappointed.
