First time stopping here, so glad we did. Food was excellent, service excellent. Went Sunday late pm. Seated immediately. staff was very attentive. Food came out piping hot. Had to wait a little while for it to cool. Got the pistichio(Greek lasagna) so good. Wife got eggplant parm. Also delish. Baklava was outstanding as was the strawberry shortcake. Will def be back soon.

Really enjoyed our meal tonight. My husband had the lasagna special and I tried the Pastichio which is billed as Greek style lasagna-noodles, ground beef, Bechamel sauce. Tomato sauce on top. Our meals came with iceberg salads topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green peppers and a basket of nice garlic bread. We ordered the Tzatziki and Spanikopita to go. The Spanikopita was different from the phyllo dough versions I have eaten elsewhere. It was a delicious flat spinach pie. Hard to go wrong with pita bread and Tzatziki. My husband was impressed by the flavors. A fellow diner recommended the Moussaka and said she would be back. They serve burgers, subs, dinners, home made desserts. Generous portions. They serve beer and wine. They have a nice kid’s menu. Check them out. Newer restaurant in Port Royal.

Another«gem»! I had the soup of the day and a gyro — both yummy. My wife had a spinach pie and tzatziki and pita — again yummy. This is an amazing place, a surprising find. I wish I lived closer!

Stopped in late on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. This little family run place was a pleasant surprise. It is located in what appears to be a historic building, with small dining rooms. The tables are a bit close together but there were not many other diners there at the time so it wasn’t a problem for us. We were seated immediately but then it took awhile to get drinks and have our orders taken. That delay could have been because we were there during off peak hours. Menu is Greek/Italian and there is a special every day. Two of us went for soup/salad and two for normal platters. The soup eater didn’t care for the bean soup but all the other dishes were fine. One was a gyro platter and the other the Moussaka. We also had the baklava for dessert which was very good. Service was ok but a little on the slow side. I think again that may be due to the time of day or maybe they just did not want to rush us. We never felt abandoned but there were some«dead times» during our meal. Overall it was a good experience and we’ll definitely go back!

I’ve passed this place many times on the right, going 301South just as you get in Front Royal Va. I’ve always indented to stop and today we did. Under new management as of 7 months and man are they doing it right! Very ample portions and nothing over $ 15 with most at $ 10 equals a bargain. But what good is a bargain if doesn’t taste good? We’ll you needn’t worry almost every thing was excellent. They give you complimentary soup I had the beef noodle and it was very good. Wifey had the calamari appetizer, although not overly seasoned it was tender, perfectly cooked and the homemade marinara was superb. Everything is cooked to order but the wait was short and the server was great. I made the wrong choice on dinner in the stuffed pepper special(9.99) against my servers recommendation it was a little bland. My wife’s house salad with grilled chicken was excellent. All in all I give Anthi an A– we sat outside and had a great dinner at a reasonable price. If you are ever in Front Royal and hungry do yourself a favor and stop.

Was recommended by a friend, and I was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant, itself, is very clean and had a rustic feel to it. There seems to be a second level for seating, though I am not too sure. We sat in the room directly to the left as you walk in. Our waitress was great and provided us with excellent service throughout our meal. She frequently refilled drinks and was very knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter. It came with fries and a Greek salad for $ 9.25. For the amount of food, the price was fair; especially since this is one of the few restaurants I’ve been to that doesn’t skimp on the fries. The chicken souvlaki was great, and I highly recommend it. The bread(pita) it came on was delicious, and the feta cheese and sauce on top made for a great entrée. The fries are definitely different; they weren’t amazing; however, they were pretty good. The Greek salad was great, with tons of veggies. The house dressing was also very tangy and delicious. We even ordered dessert, which is rare for us. I ordered a cherry cheesecake slice. It was excellent. Perfect amount of cherries on top, and the cake was moist and crust was crumbly. My wife ordered the strawberry shortcake, which the waitress recommended. She devoured it. It had a nice layer of cake, strawberry, and whipped cream. We ordered a pizza to go, to eat for dinner later purely on my curiosity of its taste. We ordered a simple cheese pizza. Definitely not recommended! The pizza was very small and bland, and reminded me of an oven pizza from a supermarket. That was definitely disappointing given the quality of our lunch. Overall, I made a point to give a detailed review of this restaurant because I feel that these family types of restaurants need as much exposure as they can get. It is truly I great find in a pretty remote area, and I would have never even noticed it if my friend had not told me about it. I highly recommend it; but stay away from the pizza!

Stopped in on a whim — what a pleasant surprise! The staff is very nice, and the food was excellent! I recommend the Chicken Souvlaki — tender chicken on sumptuous pita. Good fries too.
