My partner and I have been here countless times for brunch and lunch. We’ve tried the burgers, salads, and various omelets and the food is consistently good. The staff is always friendly and we’ve recommended West End to everyone we know. The restaurant is small and the volume can be loud inside but fortunately they have a large patio in the front.

I come here often because I order lunches for various offices. The food is good and sometimes very good. It is not exceptional. For the most part the service is very pleasant and consistent. Not sure the manager is a people person, I see her often but she is never talking to customers and staff seems a little tense when she’s present.

We ordered a total of five dinners. One of our group decided to stick with the chicken picata and did just fine. The rest of us changed our minds when we heard about the daily specials which included scallops with a marinara sauce or clams and linguine with what may have been described as a wine sauce. I am not very particular and am very happy to eat one of a variety of lean cuisine TV dinners which I am very happy with. The linguine dish may have been made with a sour wine. I do not think that it was edible. The scallops were served on a rice base that was best described as a mush. The marinara sauce was not up to healthy choice or any of the frozen foods that can be purchased at Walmart. I did not make an issue of the poor quality of the food at the restaurant other than to note my feelings on the back of the receipt. I did not want to leave any doubt that I was interested in getting a discount which I did not. I simply wanted an acceptable meal. this was not that. The clam chowder soup was excellent but nothing can make up for a main entrée that cannot be eaten. Avoid this place. There is no way the chef could have tasted what he served. Stephen N.

Wow. Strip mall — small place — little bit of a wait for the food to be served– wow was the food great. Swordfish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Sirloin medallions were delicious. Snow bird here for Christmas break and not familiar with any of the restaurants and we really hit the jackpot with this place. Highly recommend this place.

The West End Grill is a small little gem in the heart of St Lucie West. It has a great lunch menu and nice beer(on tap) selection. The waitstaff are very nice and are great at a little chit chat while you wait for your order to come up. The lunch salads are really good and out in a jiffy.

They are masters of mind numbing mediocrity. Server was inattentive, the bread is prepackaged and comes frozen, and the clam chowder was made using canned clams with varying sizes of under/over cooked potatoes. It was very slow when we went yet they still managed to take 35 minutes to cook a chicken breast and a steak they advertise as «aged». If aged means it’s been sitting in a fridge all week then sure. The cooks are clearly lacking talent and the chef is clearly lacking inspiration. It’s ok for deadened palates of the snowbird crowd that most places in PSL cater to, but if you’re looking for anything beyond prepackaged items from Sysco/US Food heated up and haphazardly plated, look elsewhere.

I had a pretty solid experience at West End Grill today. Our waitress was a delight as she allowed us visit with our group without rushing us to order and get the move on, as well as ensuring that our drinks were kept full. I had the french dip sandwich with homemade chips, my hubby had some sort of fish quesadilla, and our friend had the Reuben. Although nothing stood out as being exceptional, the food was tasty and fresh. Our bill came to about $ 45 not including tip which is a bit high for some sandwiches, chips, and tea, but I would return if I were not moving soon.

Once again using Unilocal to find lunch, we ate at West End Grille and think it has been under rated. There is both indoor and outdoor seating — it is small inside with a nice ambience. The service was good and our waitress friendly. My husband ordered the Reuben, one of his favorite sandwiches. He said it was very good but not the best he has had — a little short on the dressing. He rated the macaroni salad as very good. I had the beef sloppy joe and was it was unlike any sloppy joe I have ever had — no sauce and no roll. However it was a delicious sandwich. It was served on bread with a layer of cole slaw, a little cheese, and loads of great thinly sliced beef — definitely a 4! I had it with the homemade potato salad — I gave that a 5! There is a nice wine list and a bar, so it looks like it would be a nice place to stop for drinks. We will definitely be back when in Port St Lucie!

I went here for the first time with a couple friends for dinner. We sat on the porch, and had our drink orders taken right away. However, we had to grab the hostess 15 minutes later when neither the drinks or the waitress made it back. Waitress shows up with drinks, and apologizes. This would have been fine if a couple things didn’t happen: First, after leaving our table she goes to the register, and with body language screaming frustration, she chucks the menus with a jerky manner into a holding spot near the outside desk. Second, later on in the meal when she came to check on us, she mentioned the earlier slow wait service in a manner that was trying to be humorous but you could tell she was still irritated. Burgers and beers were great. Good steak fries. Portabello mushroom cap on burger needed more cooking. But otherwise a decent place. I generally give 20−25% for a tip. A slightly undercover pissy attitude that my foreign guests didn’t catch but I did gets 19%.

Best meal I had on my Florida trip. If I came back to Port St. Lucie I would definitely come back to this restaurant. Service was great, the outdoor ambiance is very relaxing and food was excellent. Live music was best I’ve heard at any restaurant in years.

Great spot for relaxing, no fuss dinner. The night we were there Tiffany was our server, adorable and well versed on the menu. There were only three of us and the place was crowded but everything was yummy and the guitar guy John made everything just chill. Yes, I would go back the next time I am in town. The chocolate mouse with Bailey’s was fab for dessert!

This is our favorite restaurant in Port St. Lucie. Food is consistently good and the service is attentive and professional. Tues. & Thurs it’s BYOB. No hard liquor but the beer and wine choices are extensive. You need reservations regardless of whether you want to sit inside or out. Last time we were there our check came before our dessert but that’s a minor point. We really enjoyed our meal. Bud Reilly

Food is very good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit inside in the restaurant is almost full, the noise is unbearable and you literally be to scream across the table to be heard. Fix the loud noise and sound issue and this would be a great restaurant.

Gads, been going here for years and tonite, Halloween, albeit waitstaff dressed to the nines in costume, this was just awful. I gave an extra star for the service and enthusiasm, but that’s where it ends. I have never ordered anything but a burger before — always on the mark. Tonite, thought I would venture in a different area and had ribs — as did another diner in our group. Hubby ordered panko crusted chicken with pasta and another ordered spaghetti with clams. The ribs were just awful — tough and hard to cut into riblets. The barbecue sauce was thrown on as an afterthought — gooey and sweet. Ugh. The chicken was passable with soggy pasta — shame on hubby for ordering that in a restaurant such as this. The spaghetti and clams was awful — little neck clams extremely tough and the pasta gooey and filled with garlic. Salads were nothing to write home about, and the veggie soup I chose was pretty bad. How do you mess up vegetable soup??? Not an expensive mistake — $ 120 for meals for 4, 3 beers and 2 glasses of wine plus tip, but would we return? I don’t think so — too bad since it’s so close to PGA Village and would be nice to have a good local restaurant to frequent especially after golf. Felt like chef lost interest in preparation and offerings — suggestion: cut down on the size of the menu and concentrate on well-prepared, fresh, locally grown, and imaginative fare. Been serving the same stuff for more than 5 years — really??? Won’t be back — will travel farther and spend more for well prepared and interesting food. Arghhhhh,
