If I could leave 6 stars for Britt I would! I just got one of the best haircuts & colors I’ve ever had. She really listened to what I wanted & it’s even better than I imagined. She’s incredibly friendly & has great customer service. Highly recommend!

I love Janna!!! I am so indecisive about my hair and am constantly changing my mind. Not only dose she give me advice on what to do to take care of it but provides a realistic expectation of the outcome. I couldn’t recommend her more. I have had three friends and my mom go to her now on a regular basis.

Janna is absolutely fabulous! She’s an incredibly talented stylist and you won’t be disappointed. She takes the time to understand specifically what you’re looking for and you won’t find a better colorist. I’ve recommended her to a couple of friends, who admittedly have high standards when it comes to cuts and color… they were very impressed and have become loyal patrons.

I met Janna through a groupon because I didn’t want to spend a ton of $ on something I wasn’t sure about-​coloring my hair. The last time someone colored my hair, it practically broke when you ran your fingers through it. So of course, I was a little scared. First of all, she fit me in only a few days later early in the morning even though she was busy. Then she asked me several questions to know my hair routine. She was very professional and sincerely cared about the quality of service she was giving me. The end result was great! I posted some pics and all I can say is I’m really happy with the results and already made my next appointment. She is definitely someone that I am going to stick with. Another perk is the products she uses are amazing. My hair feels great even after being colored!

After somewhat of a hair disaster at a different salon, I called 9^th Strand (after finding them online) to see what they could do. Janna answered and was friendly from the very beginning! I was apprehensive before calling (my hair had already been bleached twice that week at a different salon to no avail) but immediately felt at ease after talking with her! She requested that I send her pictures of what I wanted and what my hair looked like currently so that she could see what we could do. I could tell right away that she cared and was already invested in my situation.
My appointment was a couple days later. As soon as I walked into the salon (which is in a great location downtown by the way) I felt comfortable. It’s just Janna and her co-​owner there. I was kind of dreading sitting in a salon chair for hours for the third time that week, but there was easy conversation so time flew by! Janna actually finished quickly, anyway.
But most importantly my hair looks and feels a million times better than before! The yellow tint my hair had before was gone and replaced with the pretty blonde I was looking for. The cut is great too! Exactly what I wanted! It’s softer and feels so healthy! It has been about 3 weeks since my appointment and I’m still loving it! I’ll definitely be returning to 9^th Strand.
