This small market on Powell Boulevard just happens to be fantastic. They use the space very efficiently, providing an intriguing mix of imported foods. Fresh, frozen and packaged delicacies alike can be found, with a significant Eastern European influence. Additionally, this is in close proximity to a light rail stop.
My journey here was the result of my venturing outside of the light rail stop. I expected a mere localized version of 7-​Eleven. I browsed for ten minutes, despite how it seems to have been made for regulars who want to enter, buy their products and then quickly leave. The treat that I had was some mini ice-​cream bar for $ 1.29. It was nice and low calorie.
ABC Produce Market is a fine place to be.
