Airport Learning Tree

I have had nothing but great experiences at Airport Learning Tree. My son loves it and it has been a big reason why I held on to my job just across the street. As I am starting a new job, I will need to move eventually, but it’s proving hard to find a daycare I feel matches up to this one. They have programs and activities all year long that parents can attend. They are upfront and take an interest in every child. I was surprised when picking up my 3 month old a couple years ago how every adult in the building said «Bye, Jaxin!» while we walked out. It made me feel good. My son has made some great friends and the curriculum has put him higher than other 2 year olds. It seems as though they have tons of time for play based learning and fun activities that adhere to a lesson plan. I only wish the teachers would take a parent one at a time during pick up and talk about what their child did that week and what we should work on at home. Penny runs a fabulous daycare and is quite present in the day to day. She makes sure to check up every now and then and it’s a great place. Joy in the infant room was always our favorite teacher, and she talked to me about my son all the time at pick up, which I really enjoyed.

If my kids weren’t already grown, I’d send them to the Airport Learning Tree. The atmosphere there is warm and inviting. The kids have a great time and they love Penny Haakinson, the owner. In fact, she is loved by everyone — kids, parents and staff alike; including me, though I’m just a big fan. She is a rare gem and so is the Airport Learning Tree. Do you know another daycare center with a pool? Not only will your kids have fun and are well-​looked after, they can learn to swim too. How cool is that? If you need some child care for your 6 week or 12 year old or anything in between, I urge you to check this place out.

I am a new Mom and had to go back to work.
When I called to see about a tour Penny was so warm and kind. She told me to swing by anytime. I stopped in unannounced. The building was completely secure and was buzzed in once she saw us outside.
This was the only place that did not require an appointment. I did not want to see people on their best behavior, I wanted to walk into the day to day grind and see the real interaction. I am so happy I did!
My lil guy goes to this daycare now and he thrives. Heis in the infant room and his teachers are wonderful the staff is fantastic. They communicate everything with you, offer great ideas and are so flexible! I love them all and so does my son!
