Applebee’s

Nice server. But didn’t check back except to clear plates. Food was mediocre at best. Not bad, but not great. Salmon $ 15; super salty fish, decent flavor but seemed bathed in salt. Potato & veggie sides were cold. Probably set up on plate then waited for salmon to finish. Not horrible, just not great – especially for the price. Mac & cheese with chicken tenders $ 13; definitely the better of the two. Tasty chicken, real bacon, and a decent portion size.
This location is closing for a 3-​day remodel. Maybe they were in disarray in kitchen??? Pretty quiet crowd – not very busy.

The Duty manager went out of his way to make us feel welcome for our free Veteran’s Day meal. The food came quickly and exactly as we had ordered it. The greeting and seating crew operated as a well trained team and there wasn’t much of a wait on this very busy lunch rush.

I can’t believe that at 6:40 pm on a Friday evening Applebee’s is out of one of their most popular appetizers, Beer Pub Pretzels. When do we stop relying on explanations why we can’t do something and figure out how to get something done!

Raul Cortez was quite an awful manager. He doesn’t know how to fix a bad situation, he can’t speak well, very weak shrill voice, and overall doesn’t know how to run a successful restaurant. My family came in on a pretty empty floor. We all ordered our food and one by one it came out, until it came to my meal. In the end it took about 30 – 45 mins to get my food after ordering but because we are a very close knit family the rest of them hadn’t eaten their food yet because it is nice to wait for everyone to get their food and by the time my meal came their food was pretty cold. No compensation was given and service checkups were rare. On the good side though the food was delicious. If you want Applebee’s I’d suggest driving a few more minutes to another location where you could hopefully get better service.

This place hasn’t changed one bit in ten years. No creativity on the menu, over salted entrees with no real flavor, outdated ambiance that just leaves you feeling cluttered and bored. Lack of menu options leaves you wondering why you came in. Parking lot is a joke. Not coming back.

Well when we first got here, it took like 45 to get our silverware. Sheeesh, so far not good. I think our server is new. Got our food ordered and served and I’d have to say the food made up for it. Had the 7oz sirloin and baby back ribs. Cooked excellent to my likings. Overall food was fabulous!!!

So on my boyfriend and I come here once every few months and only twice have we had good service. Tonight was exceptionaly disappointing. First of all I work in the industry as a manager so I expect decent service when I do go out. It took over 5 minutes to be greeted once we sat. Our server didnt even ask how we were and just stated that this was his 5^th night on the job so i tried to be patient. He didnt ID us when we ordered drinks when we clearly look under 35. It took another 5 – 7 minutes to get our drinks as our server stood at the bar and chatted with coworkers instead of possibly wanting to see if we wanted any appetizers. Once our drinks came he plainly asked what we wanted. We placed our order with appetizers. He dropped our apps off and that was the last time we saw him. the manager on duty dropped our entrees off and we proceeded to eat and then pay our tab on the tablet. Not once were we checked on once our entrees had arrived. We watched as our server sat down at a table with his backpack and a hat on like he was ready to go home and start eating food… yet i thought he was still our server? Its unfortunate to have such a new person on your staff who clearly wasnt ready to have his own section yet understand customer service in geneal. Overall i just wanted to share my experience in hopes that things can and will improve.

I hate the tablets on the table. What the hell happened to actual service? Our server was nice, but then near the end ran his card through our tablet so he would «get the credit» and not the bartender since we were sitting at a table in the bar (with our kids). took forever to figure it out and there is no option for a cash tip, and we saw our server sitting not far from us playing on the phone. I am modern and have all the electronic devices but I sure as hell don’t want them here. Food was good. Drinks were good. I normally don’t like going to Red Robin but I am going to check and see if they are going this ridiculous tablet route and if they aren’t, I am never coming back to Applebees again until they change it — after 20 years.

Share the ²⁄₂₀. I had one item and husband had three. Good service and food today. Really like the new tablets on tables.

The think I like the most is that it was open. We got in late, (flight delay) and was looking for a quick bite to eat. I usually do not eat at chain restaurants when I go out of town, but I made an exception this time. Service was good, and food was good.

The older lady behind the bar seemed so unhappy to be there– she had no manners and I witnessed her be rude to an older trainee who was training to
Work there– heard a server mention her name was Sam or Samantha — she was very unfriendly — I was gonna eat there but left because she acted like we were annoying her when we ordered our drinks –once we set out our money to pay, she brought us our change and said «here you go» lol
I work in the industry. — I’ve never had THAT bad of a day. I won’t be back

Awesome service and delicious food. They recently changed their menu and added lots of new and delicious items. I love the new Mac n cheese with honey chicken and bacon. Amazing. The chicken is so tender! I had a delicious meal of leftovers the following day.
Every time we go to this Applebee’s the manager stops by our table to ask how our food was, and our waitress/​waiter is always very friendly and attentive. I love their dessert shooters, and the two for $ 20 deal.
Excellent restaurant, and even with so many local options around, we still head to this Applebees frequently for a delicious bite to eat.

Very poor service! We walked in happy sat at the bar and the bartender (blonde older lady) was rude to us right from the get go! The service was extremely slow and they took their precious time on serving us! Very rude and I will not be back! Not to mention they got my husbands order wrong!

Clarence is a horrible server and can’t take jokes so he retaliates by cutting people off at the bar!

The best part of the service was the host as he sat us. We ate with Gnats, my friends food wasn’t put in so he had to sit there while we ate, and very poor service.

The inside is still «neighborhood» themed, but the wall paper included plenty of HUGE fruit flies! I couldn’t believe it. The dinner was pretty good, but I had to keep swatting the flies away! :(

MON — THU NIGHTS
Try and get a seat at the bar. Bartender KAYLA is THE best ever. She will hook you up and make sure you get your moneys worth. She’s so down to earth and friendly. I mean yall just have to come down and meet her! Words can’t describe how awesome she is. anyways food was on point as well. I can’t express enough. KAYLA is bomb!

Service here is mostly good, but has occasional letdowns. It seems that management has worked to improve that over the last year, but it still has a ways to go. Being a chain, they get saddled with whatever corporate wants them to do on the way of happy hour menus and specials. With that said, the happy hour specials, which is what usually brings me to this place before Winterhawks games, have been up and down. For a while their traditional buffalo wings were no longer on the menu… glad they are finally back!
A couple of the staff here are really good! They’ve gotten to know my wife and I from our frequent visits, and anticipate our needs very well.

Very, nice and we will be back

Went here only because I got a gift card for Christmas.
Ghetto food along with Ghetto atmosphere, but the service was awesome.
The food looks like the menu pictures… horrible. The atmosphere was lacking, but it’s an Applebee’s next to a mall and you get mall folk.
*I can’t bitch cause the meal was free, but I can’t stand babies and there were a lot of babies.
