The world need more record stores. This is a good one. I like digging in the bargain bins and I always walk away with a few items. It’s a small place, easy to browse and the prices are about where the other record stores are.

Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re way into electronic/experimental music. Nice mixed selection of new and used, thoroughly curated so you can’t go wrong. The staff was super friendly, they complemented me on my choice of a used Tim Hecker LP, which I thought was really cool, and we had a great conversation. The emphasis is electronic but there’s actually a great selection of other genres too, so don’t let that scare you away. Drop in and browse the stacks, you won’t be disappointed.

This store was a great little recent find for me. They had some good deals and a healthy mix of new and used albums. I usually just buy used so I’m not into the shops that have nothing but new. I also brought in a stack of records and was given a very fair trade/price for them. Definitely recommend this shop.

Small, but very friendly and well curated. There were some very good deals on new old-stock 12“s if you’re willing to dig, but most of what I saw were LPs at typical prices. The genres aren’t very well categorized yet(Electronic is way too broad), which is a little disappointing for such a niche record store, but apparently that’s in the works. If you’re looking for something very specific you’re probably better off elsewhere, but for a recommendation or something more off the beaten path, Beacon is great.
