Had a bunch of art jewelry that needed repairing. Cathy fixed the pieces before our eyes with genuine enthusiasm for the work. While she worked she began teaching my husband about jewelry making and showing him how to do repairs in the future(this, after having accurately determined in the first 2 minutes that he was the creative one. Not me.) She came up with some creative solutions for some of my broken chains, accurately reproduced some badly warped ones, and even helped me untangle necklaces.

They have a great selection of seed beads and tohos. I like it that they have guest sellers quite often. The staff is helpful. A little more spendy than shopping online, but worth it for the service.

A friend recently gave me a bracelet that had the clasp missing. I stopped at Beads at Dusti Creek to see if they could help. Travis was able to replace the clasp in about ten minutes. Very helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend this bead shop.

I am a novice crafter and was excited to remember I had a bead store close to my house when I decided to make a costume and some gifts over the holidays — and I figured that since this store has been there for so long that they must be a good source of the many things I was hoping to gather up. I got nothing. Nothing. Their inventory was so lame, for lack of better word. There isn’t too much of an inventory to start with, much less variety in color, style or texture. Even having a big list of possible items & varieties, I was unable to find anything fun to leave the store with — much less any help, suggestions or cordiality from the folks that work there. I always look to support my neighborhood business owners first & foremost but this place will fade back into its obscurity from which I tried to pluck it.

I ordered a pendant via Etsy and it arrived partially broken. I imagined that a bead store would have some kind of connective pieces to put it back together. Not only did the proprietor point me toward the item I needed, but she did part of the repair herself! This was totally unexpected. The cost of the part was 20 cents but she treated me like I was spending a fortune. Class act. Highly recommended.
