Brian Haveman – Summit Mortgage Corporation

I have worked with Brian a few times over the years with home loans/​refinancing. Initially he came recommended from work colleagues and in my experience have been very pleased with his service and expertise. This last loan I was able to do everything at home, which was very helpful in reducing the stress due to our move. He is straight forward about the process and willing to explain everything thoroughly. He happily went through the costs and worked the loan numbers for me multiple times until I felt comfortable. He always replied to me in a timely manner and from my perspective made the loan process as simple as it can be. I highly recommend Brian!

This might be my first review I’ve ever written about anybody or any organization so I consider what I’m writing to be significant.
I have a long history with Brian as my loan officer. Yes, I’ve used three different real estate agents for all of my transactions but every time I sold or purchased a home, I told the agent that I’m using Brian Haveman at Summit Mortgage. He’s done a great job for me with fast response times and offering creativity with unique loan programs.
But the real reason I’m writing this is because he called me a couple of months ago out of the blue with a possible opportunity to refi. I hadn’t even considered a refi and didn’t think it possible. Two months after that phone call, he had helped me convert from a FHA loan to a conventional loan, remove my mortgage insurance payment, and reduce my monthly loan payment by $ 300. The appraisal came out $ 15,000 higher than the appraisal I obtained less than a year ago. Complete win win for everybody and he came to me. VERY IMPRESSED!
