Britt’s Express Lane Coffee

I love my soy white mochas and they are made the best here! My favorite coffee shop to use because of the great customer service and the great coffee!

Friendly sweet employees. Coffee itself it ok. Barista skills lacking. Coffee fingerprints on white cups. Italian sodas look great, taste bland.
Long version:
About 7 years ago I used to come here often, it was close to daycare and the owner was sweet as pie and awesome to talk to.
I decided to come back and was disappointed 2 weeks in a row. The same young lady help me & made my coffee. She was really friendly and nice, so when she handed me a cup with her coffee stain finger-​prints on it, I assumed she must be new. Then the phone where you pay, had coffee grinds and prints… After that my coffee was burnt, I asked her to remake it. She was awesome about it, but again coffee finger prints and my straw had coffee residue… I didn’t drink it. Me assuming maybe it was an off day and I really liked the owner before, tried the following week. Brought my children Italian sodas (which looked awesome) but tasted like sprite. And I again had a mocha, which was again burnt then my replacement cup was coffee finger printed… I really wanted to like it here but something has changed for the negative.

The coffee is excellent and the service is very good the owner is friendly and personable. I will definitely be returning to this coffee shop.

In town on a business trip, coming in from the airport, my friends an I stopped at Britt’s. Great experience — she is a ray of sunshine. The coffee was outstanding. Well done!

Best coffee in town! more important best service! she will know your order after only coming a few times. She and her staff are always friendly and helpful. what a gem of a tiny business. And she only uses the most high quality ingrediants including organic coffee. Please stop by for a shot in the dark, my new fav. deeelicious

The coffee is awesome and so is the service.
It’s really convenient if you just need to pick up a cup of coffee on your way into Portland, out of Portland, or just a cup for the road. They also have pastries to snack on that are goooood!

The best coffee and great service. When I am in the area this is the only place I go. Bakery goods are high quality and good assortments. Some breakfast foods like hot organic oatmeal for early commuters. Better price and higher quality than your average drive thru. You’ll find by going here that it is the perfect way to start your day with their friendly smiles and excellent customer service.

Britt’s Express Lane is a great representation of a small business establishment in Portland.
I frequent this great little coffee hut on my way to work at least a couple times a week. I know I know, so much $$ — blah blah — but I really love helping out this local business. Most days I stop in, Britt herself makes my drinks and gives me WONDERFUL service. Always a smile, even on the dreariest of days.
The coffee is good, too! I have a few different things I get: Carmel Macchiato, Americano (iced and hot), the Chai Tea latte and just regular lattes — and all satisfy.
