My son started at Building Bridges when he was three years old after we had worked with many local therapists and programs. He is not on the spectrum but has struggled with many developmental delays including language delay and intense emotional dysregulation along with sensory issues. He spent the next three years in this program starting with private sessions and working his way into the group settings and the impact has been profound. They have a wonderful balance of ABA with a relationship based approach. They meet the child where they are and slowly challenge them, step by step, never taking them further than will help them become more self-regulated, confident, happy children. They helped my son find his infectious sense of humor, maintained his complete confidence and trust in the adults around him, and developed close relationships with him that he refers to regularly. It was bittersweet this Fall when he graduated from their program and very successfully has integrated into a neurotypical elementary school. We are so grateful for Building Bridges and the wonderful people there and endorse it whole heartedly.
