.BEWAREOFMARYKAUTZER Came for housing, medication management, and in-home care assessment. None of these services were ever provided, instead created false records and a fictional patient. This place is in it to make money off of the vulnerable, presribing mind alternating drugging to keep you sick and in their system

The mental health system is broken. I came here for help several times, and was given half a dozen more hoops to jump through to get help. This place calls itself a mental health«urgent care» because it does walk-in’s, but really it is nothing more than a gateway leading down a tunnel to dozens of dead-ends and more gatekeepers. Not only were their faded, photocopied resource lists utterly out of date and worthless, I also couldn’t get a straight answer about what their own organization could or would do to help me. No one there knew what their own policies were, or what community resources were available. The most common answer to my questions was, «I don’t know anything about that. Do you have the internet at home?» These folks are really in love with themselves. I was often told(by them) how they are a model of care, how they prevent people from going to the ER(and thus getting some effective help), how they«never» turn anyone away, how great socialized medicine is, blah, blah, blah. It’s empty talk. The story changed with every provider and receptionist I talked to, with multiple sympathetic reassurances that if I just kept on trying I would get the help I needed from them Nope. It was an utterly humiliating set of experiences coupled with many hours of wasted time hanging around in their waiting room listening to people screaming like it was the third circle of hell. If you find yourself in a mental health crisis, skip this place and go straight to the ER. Honestly, I can’t imagine how the ER would be a more stressful place to be than here, and at least they have the ability to help you right there, right now, and once you get to the end of the waiting line, there will be someone willing to do something for you. I won’t mince words. It’s nothing less than unethical and fraudulent to pretend to offer urgent care services, and to proudly boast you never turn people away when it is so painfully, hurtfully obvious the opposite is true. I say that not only as a client, but as someone who has worked as a mental health professional for many years.
