So these guys and gals are GREAT! I mean everyone is so friendly. I see and have heard some of the things that these guys have to put up with. Getting told to go F them selves because the customer had to actually get their lazy butt up and out of the car to go inside and pay:) that always makes me laugh. These guys work hard up there! That place gets hopping and their running from pump to pump to get us out of there as fast as possible, and on top of it all they will do your windows for no charge at all! I for one am very appreciative ! theres plenty of times I’m in a rush and thanks to their hard work i get in and out in a flash no matter how busy they are it seems like. I’ve see so many people get so upset for one reason or another and take it out on these guys that are just trying to do their job. I’m not kidding when i say I’ve never heard anybody take as much crap from customers then these guys do. They get paid min. wage and if any people deserves a tip it’s these guys. They most definitely out due a lot of waiters/waitress’s that I have tipped in the past. So think about these guys the next time you stop in, and take notice on how hard they work. I think it’s so tacky and just plain cheap to say to them«get my windows, front & back» then to not even say thank you let alone a tip for crying out loud. Even if a guy just gave 50 cents that would almost make a wage they could eat and pay rent in the same month! Be kind! What’s a few quarters to some people that are happy and appreciative to get’em! I fill up every week at this Chevron. It’s the best gas at a good price. Staff is friendly and remembers me. They’ll always offer to wash your windshield.

So I came in here just to get a beverage but the first thing I did was ask if I could use the rest room. When I did the response from the cashier was, «the restroom is for customers only.» She wasn’t wearing a name tag but her hair was black/pink/orange. Even if the gas is more expensive down the street, I’ll go there from now on.

First time I’ve ever had such bad service here. Got totally ignored. What happened to the great service I used to get here?

Do not argue with the customer. Simple as that. This Chevron is not much different than the most, well… At least it’s cheaper than the other gas stations near by, especially the other Chevron. It’s convenient for me and I usually get great customer service here. However, I was not pleased with my recent visit — at all. This gas attendant must have been new because I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service than with him. As I exited my car he grabs the window washing squeegee and asks if I wanted my windows was, I politely said no. He asked so quickly and added quietly«pull this so the camera can see it»… I thought it was odd. So this is where my rant really begins: I’ve been coming to this gas station weekly for 3 months now since it’s convenient and on the way to and from my classes. I’ve never had an issue whether paying my card or cash. Normally when I’ve paid by card, the attendants leave it as it. And when I paid by cash, they round it up to the next dollar if it’s close or the next .05 mark. I’ve NEVER had an issue with this until today. So, here I am waiting for my tank to be filled and the cashier says it’ll be $ 31.81… I ask just for confirmation and it’s $ 31.81 — WHY?! Even the cashier agreed with me that it should be rounded! Frustrated, I go ahead and pay it. I walk out and I confront the attendant to inform him that usually it’s rounded up… The scenario that played out was bad customer service, but this is how it should have went down… GOODCUSTOMERSERVICE: Customer — Why wasn’t this rounded up? Usually it is, .81 is such a weird place to leave it at. Attendant — Well, I’m sorry ma’am. I am following the protocol of the«Oregon no top off law», unfortunately we cannot do that. Customer — I’ve been here numerous times and I’ve never had a problem until now. Attendant — Again, I’m sorry ma’am. But I cannot speak on behalf of who has helped you in the past. We do have signs available for your understanding. Customer — Well, okay… I understand, thanks. BADCUSTOMERSERVICE(THISISWHATHAPPENED): Customer — Why wasn’t this rounded up? Usually it is, .81 is such a weird place to leave it at. Attendant — It’s against the law, we don’t do that here! Customer — I’ve been here numerous times and I’ve never had a problem until now. Who wants extra change? Attendant — No. It can’t be done, it shouldn’t be done. I’m just trying to be extra cautious here to not lose my job. *walks over to the door and points at the sign like the customer is an ignorant person*. Customer — *annoyed because of how he addressed the situation* Whatever, maybe you should look into it. *fed up with the attendant, gets in car, and zooms off* I get the«no top off law», I totally do. I’m all for saving the ozone and such. However, when one is so used to a certain type of customer service… You’d hope that everyone working there would uphold to the same service level if not more.

The gas at this Chevron is much cheaper than the gas at Sho’s Chevron about a few blocks south on 82nd. It’s Chevron so I assume it’s the same gas. And why they put 2 Chevrons within about as many blocks is beyond me. The constant line at this Chevron is indicative of the fact that this Chevron is at least 10 cents cheaper per gallon. The line can get annoying, though, and since the station is situated on a funky corner lot with weird angles(and due to the location, the majority of drivers in the lot are not, shall we say, members of Mensa), gridlock is a constant. The guys pumping gas will wash your windshield for you too. That’s a nice feature. But the $ 3ATM fee pisses me off. Why in the world do all the ATM’s on 82nd charge $ 3? You’re better off going down the street to 82nd Market where the ATM fee is only $ 1.50. Down with high ATM fees, up with cheap gas.
