Expensive, yes. But Bureau of Environmental Services is more expensive and they come on the same bill. They are fast to respond on any sort of broken pipe. Had that in my street and had that with neighbors, home side of the meter. They came through snow, sleet and dark of night. Chains in a City emergency time. If you are patient, you can also reach experts inside the bureau I sought as recipient of a fancy meter trial. Yes they have had missteps like the Water House and the Rose Festival building, but under new leadership I think they have new religion. And I do not support friends of reservoirs living in the 19th century. Most people do not know that the Mt Tabor reservoirs leak massively into the ground water. They are pretty though, but the 19th century and even 1911, is over. And as noted in the other review, they are not big on dog ate my homework file ideas for not paying the bill. If they did, they would be subject to slings and arrows of outrageous fortune attacks by the Tea Party, which no public entity relishes. But if questions come up, suggest stopping in person at their Portland Building office weekday business hours. Plus they run one of the most awesome water systems in the USA: . So cred.

Worst public utility company. They have been chasing my mother and I for over 4 years to get us to pay for my deceased father’s left over water bill after he passed away and the bank took his house. They even put a ding on my mother’s credit score. She lived in Spokane Washington at the time! They continue to send me bills and any time you contact them they simply tell you that you are a liar and that it is your responsibility to pay the debt. I refuse and they have yet to ding my credit but if and when they do a massive lawsuit shall be filed.
