This place most definitely lives up to hype. I’m from NY and when at home will only go to my barber and my barber only. Being in Portland for my friends wedding, I wanted to get myself cleaned up but was very anxious cause I had no idea if I was gonna walk out of a barber with my worst nightmare of a haircut. This place was great, the owner was talking to us the entire time and made me feel at home. Nate was my barber and he did a phenomenal job, cleaned me up nice and gave me a great tape up. Also to add on all of this, the environment of the place was great!
Give this place a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This place lives up to the high ratings it has received after only 7 weeks in operation.
All the reviews are true. Cool dudes, a relaxed atmosphere, great complimentary drinks, and most notably, skilled and personable barbers. All worth the modest cost.
I also appreciate the ease of the their website in setting up an appointment with a specific barber.
I recommend Nate, he gave me my first haircut after a 9 month grow-​out and I’ve received nothing but compliments.
I will be back here for my next cut and recommending it to friends in the mean time.

This was my first experience going to a barber since I was a child. It was fantastic! You’re immediately greeted when you enter their shop and everyone is nice and professional.
The price was very reasonable for the time spent by Jerrin the barber! The ambience reminds one of walking into a Restoration Hardware store … Clean, architecturally modern and a very cool vibe.
Treat yourself not just to beard trim and cut, but an opportunity to relax and leave feeling and looking great!

What a nice new spot on Williams! Right by Tin Bucket. Great atmosphere and a really really great cut and beard trim from Nate. And a shot of Bulleit Rye? That’s amazing. Reasonably priced as well. I’ll be sure to tell my friends.

This neighborhood needed a comfortable barbershop and now we have just that. Friendly and cheaper than Throne and Modern Man and just a couple doors away from neighborhood favorite Tin Bucket beer bar. Grab a drink and a cut or just hang out and play a free game of pool. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure! Nate did a great job lining me up to my specifications, thanks brotha!

Greeted by Eric, who chatted me up. Got a haircut by Nate, who was quick and thorough and gave me a great hawk. Red Label whiskey, nom. Pool table, and a tv, chill vibe. 29 bucks for a quality cut, and straight razor shave, not bad!
All friendly, entertaining, and I look sharp. Also, on a personal note, didn’t get any bad mojo for being a trans dude at a barbershop, and that’s worth a lot. :-)

I am so impressed with Cloak & Dagger. They have a welcoming front staff, fantastic interior, great product selection, and skilled barbers who are great to chat with. Please consider this shop if you are looking for a quality cut and service.
I have trusted Nate for over a year with my hair and he has never let me down. Coupling his skill with this cool new location is perfect. I feel like the pricing is fair and the appointment system on their website is incredibly easy to manage. Check this place out!

Love everything about this Barber shop. The great hair cut was only the beginning. Joel is a fantastic barber who knows what I want better than I do. The shop’s manager Danny is fun and friendly and the atmosphere is excellent.

Great place to get a beard trim. They were very friendly and had good music planning. It’s got a great feel to it and seems like a fun place to work which meant everyone is in a good mood.
They got my beard nice and trimmed the conversation was good and I felt relaxed and enjoyed my experience.
I’ll be going back for sure.
