Had the red curry the other day it was very good. So smooth, I wish it would have had more chicken and not been so heavy on the eggplant otherwise I would have given it five stars.

We go here a few times a week for Pad Thai and salad rolls. The Pad Thai is some of the best we’ve had in Portland… the included peanut sauce is a great touch. It’s worth the lunch hour wait, so you’ve got to try it if you’re in the neighborhood.

Diamond Thai? More like diarrhea Thai… my spouse and I have both been suffering for the past few hours with upset tummy issues since eating at this food cart. We both ordered Thai iced tea(usually a pretty solid standby at most Thai places) and it tasted almost like strawberry milk. I’ve never had tea that tasted like this before, it was puzzlingly sweet, had a strange flavor, and I was NOT a fan. Then we were served the Pad See Ew and it was overwhelmingly salty, the noodles were rubbery and was overall unappetizing. Only a few bites in and my stomach was already churning. This might be TMI but I’ve written this entire review from a toilet. Thumbs down experience, which is a shame since the gentleman who served us was very friendly and sweet!

I recently had the beef red curry here and I’m definitely impressed. Much better than the pad Thai! I love how perfectly cooked the eggplant is in the mix. For $ 5.75, you get a big bowl of curry and a box of rice. That’s one helluva deal. They don’t skimp on the meat, either. One curry can provide a big lunch and a small dinner, or the other way around. My earlier review stands, but after having had this better option, I’m going to give Diamond Thai another star. Well done, guys!

I went to this place only because the thai place across the way was closed. Regret, regret, regret. I ordered the pad kee mao and… it did not taste like pad kee mao with all its basil, spices, etc, but more like just a fried noodles dish. Nothing special. No flavor. Service was really slow as they only had one person taking orders AND cooking the food. Poor woman! Hire more people!

I love this Thai cart, the food is so tasty and inexpensive. The Phad See Ew has tons of fresh veggies. The salad rolls are $ 3 for 2 and come with a delicious sweet peanut sauce which my kids love.

After a Halloween spent committing carbicide all that sounded appealing to me today were vegetables and protein. I ordered chicken satay which was cooked to perfection and deliciously seasoned along with the rainbow chicken entrée. It was EXACTLY what the doctor prescribed! Broccoli, carrots, celery, bamboo shoots, cabbage, white green onion and bean sprouts in a simple yet decadent broth! Also I used the left over peanut sauce that came with the chicken satay and dipped into the rainbow! Sent me across a rainbow! Supoib!

Less than one star is what these people deserve when it comes to customer service. The nephew is a little prick who needs to be taught respect. I said what I wanted at least 5 times and he gave me the wrong order. I was very polite when I returned my order to have it replaced. He said«you said tom Yum». I told him that I said«Tom kha at least 5 times». He then said«whatever, give me 5 minutes.» I said«of ur going to be rude, I’ll take my money back». He said«fine take ur money». Ugh. I’m so over bad customer service and little shits thinking they can talk to people like that. If you get an order wrong, you fix it. You’re in the business of helping and serving people. So fuck off.
