This place is really cute with acceptable coffee and not so good muffins. I liked it there to stay for a while to work but there are few grumpy old men that will yell at you and force you to leave the place! It is so unpleasant I like that place but those constant customers are so annoying and I will not go back there.

Cute neighborhood coffee spot. Mate latte had perfectly frothed milk, me like that! And they allow dogs… so added star!

This charming coffee shop is usually more crowded than I prefer, it’s ambience is still calming. It’s a great place to come solo to really enjoy your surroundings of beautiful art, quality coffee and snacks you would expect from eccentric older relatives.

I love this place. Cozy & friendly. They make a delicious house chai and Paleo friendly baked goods! You got to get there before noon most days because the Paleo baked goodies often sell out.

I love this place! After recently moving to Portland from Seattle, I’m on the lookout for my new regular coffee shops. Dragonfly manages to be super chill, but also efficient, quality, and a great place to hang, work, or read for a few hours. Bonus points for the communal crossword puzzles :). My only issue with this place is that there aren’t a ton of outlets, but that’s probably balanced out by the fact that there are plenty of cool spots to sit where you’re not on top of other people. Lastly, it’s always super busy… but manages to be quiet at the same time. Two thumbs up.

I was visiting the area for a week and wanted a great cup of coffee. Someone recommended Dragonfly a short walk away, on the corner, easy to find. I had the Americana with 4 shots of espresso(I know a bit much) It was perfect! The baristas said I will be up for 2 days, great service, with a sense of humor, I didn’t get his name. But I will be going back next month. I will try the pastries, next time!

Amaaaazing latte! Had the bean and egg mini pie as well which was good but I wish they had more breakfast options. Dog friendly!

Bold, spicy chai. Not the lame, sweet stuff but the real stuff that puts fire in ya belly. Love it.

Dragonfly is the friendliest café in town! They have a cozy atmosphere and welcoming baristas who actually take the time to learn your name. You’ll find an abundance of pastries, great weekly specials, and every possible milk alternative(almond, hemp, coconut, soy, etc.). The couches are super comfy and there are plenty of outlets if you need to work on a project. You can also bring your dog, which makes this place pure gold in my book! Random notes: I stopped going for a while due to the lack of air conditioning, but according to their facebook they have 3 units now, so that will make for a much better environment this summer! Also, they should consider getting a better punch card plan… Buy 10 drinks to get $ 1 off a coffee is not the greatest reward for being a loyal customer. Lame punch card aside, this is still my fav coffee place in the neighborhood!

I live in this neighborhood, and I can assure you that Dragonfly – its owner, Erin; its friendly employees, its atmosphere, and its products, absolutely enhance and make our neighborhood a destination. I feel welcomed whenever I come in, treated well, and served excellent lattes, americanos and iced tea. I don’t do sweets, but they make many of their own with vegan options and many non-dairy choices for those who need them. Okay, so it’s often crowded and newcomers don’t quite understand that the line forms along the bar(not toward the door) but that’s easily remedied. You can write you resume here, get tutored in math, have a business meeting, meet after a run, or just get a chai at the new walk-up window(dog treats included!) and head down to the library, next door to Food Front, or up to Forest Park. It’s a quintessential, vibrant neighborhood business and I’m thrilled to have Dragonfly so close to our house.

This café is like something plucked from a Studio Ghibli film. It’s sweet and comfortable without being twee. The décor of shabby chic furniture, animal sculptures, and vintage fixtures make this the perfect place to relax and work. We had a little trouble finding a seat at first since it’s a popular destination, but the mocha I got was delicious and I’m eager to come back again.

Exactly what you would expect from a quintessential coffee house in Portland. We were lucky enough to stumble on Dragonfly on our way to Forrest Park and were very pleased with the coffee, the atmosphere and the food. The fig bars are amazing and all of the baked goods looked divine. Our new favorite spot in this part of town.

Tasty beans and the best Chai ever! I like my coffee without all of the sugar added, so I appreciate that they offer a spicy chai that is light on the sweet stuff. Erin is the best barista this side of the Mississippi. Her barista crew is always full of smiles-a true rarity in Portland. Healthy pastry options await: gluten free, sugar free, vegan and GMO free – you name it, they have you covered. Afterwards, walk up to Forest Park for a wonderful Portland experience.

I’m a simple girl. I like simple things. And while my drink order may be a simple cold brew coffee with nothing in it — my experience every morning is nothing short of extraordinary. Not only are Erin and Lucy absolute gems, but the environment is warm fun, and inviting. It feels like family. Honestly, you may as well be playing the Cheers theme song every morning when I walk in that door. It’s just THEBEST way to start my day – and so I do it every day. Dragonfly Coffeehouse highlights: * Welcoming environment * Huge variety of food: muffins, quiches, cakes, breads, etc.(Vegan, GF options too!) * Absolutely wonderful staff * Outdoor ordering window for customers with doggies * Best cold brew in town I’m telling you… walk in that door and magic happens. You need to try it yourself to believe it.

Could have been awesome, but it was SOCRAMPED. I felt claustrophobic. The ordering process was confusing because no one understood where the line was going and where the counter was. I would like it if it wasn’t so hectic.

I found this place after a coworker told me the general direction to go… I got a cold brew for $ 2. There was soy milk at the bar! No addl charge?! The ambience was very homey, but also clean and modern too. I loved the feel of the place. The baristas were like distant aunts who were welcoming but not overbearing. I wouldn’t have felt uncomfortable asking for anything unusual. It was relaxed without being too friendly where you feel bad trying to leave/escape from the lonely people. I can’t imagine a better place to grab a cup of coffee, but I’ll probably still try.

I used to love this place. Out of the way from busy NW23rd, lots of options, cozy chairs and right by the coop. But recently I stopped by and was disappointed by the lack of seating. It’s like all anyone does is sit there all day long. I decided to get a tea and pastry to go. I asked the guy behind the counter what he recommended of their gluten free items and he pointed out the one that he claimed was«most popular». It looked kind of like a muffin and pretty dark but I went for it anyway. Mistake! It was burnt, dry, and yet somehow uncooked in the middle. And just generally gross. I couldn’t take more than a couple bites. Very disappointed. I’ll stick to my tea next time.

What an adorable, chill, friendly, Bohemian kind of space! Absolutely delicious coffee if you like a strong cup, which I do, and their 20 ounce cap only costs $ 4,50. Lllllove it, especially with free wifi. The interior lends a home-feel when you stay, and they serve the coffee or tea to you in real mugs. The minimalistic food looks appetizing but I did not try it. Parking can be harder, but this place is definitely worth the drive-around-the-block. Go!

What a charming coffee and pastry shop with super nice people! I asked for their advice in what pastry to get as they had so many that looked amazing(pumpking pear muffins… are you kidding me… mmmm). I cringed a little when she said the blueberry bran was her favorite but i went with it as she recommended it. Wow — bran had never tasted so good. It was sweetened with banana, honey, and molassas! I also ordered a chai and for the first time in Portland they didn’t heat it to 250 degrees! So delicious! Cant wait to come back to this place in the morning tomorrow!
