So far this has been the most consistent and satisfying pizza place for me in Portland, the staff are chill and pizza is always good.

One might describe this place as a bit of a «hole in the wall» place. While it is undeniably TINY, it’s also pretty central and near Powell’s, PGE Park, and other hip Burnside bars. I absolutely love their pizza, and my favorite thing is that you can get a mini pizza and completely customize it. They have a great selection of vegetarian combos, and will even do gluten free.

Very tasty. We had gluten free pizza because my friend has celiac disease, and it was really good. Tables were sticky though.

Ordered delivery because we wanted to stay in and they were here within the hour and did not disappoint. Ordered the buffalo chicken and the margarita, very saucy and not short on toppings

We had three different pizzas from here today and they were WONDERFUL! Fresh crust, fresh ingredients, and served with a smile. We also had some Portland Cider and it was great too! The owner was friendly and sure does love to stand at the window watching people walk by as he throws his dough in the air like a pro. Would DEFINITELYRECOMMENDTHISPLACE! Skip the chains and give this marvelous man your money and support small business!

Was excited to try out the food looking at the reviews and pics. Placed order and got a call 20 minutes later that they ran out of cheese. Was too late to get pizza from anywhere else for delivery. Huge bummer. If your out you should notify customers ASAP now I get to go to bed hungry.

I really appreciate the owner, Jill, contacting me about my previous review. She generously sent me a gift certificate a few months ago and we finally redeemed it recently. There was some confusion from the delivery guy regarding the gift certificate and the fact that I still had a remaining balance I needed to sign for(we ordered more than the gift certificate covered), but the delivery was a prompt 30 minutes and the pizza was delicious. Thanks again, Jill!

I love Eat Pizza! I only ever get take out as I live next door, and it’s always delicious and takes about 15 minutes. I ordered: Garlic knots which are VERY garlicky and require the perfect marinara sauce for dipping. Mini pizza with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and Italian sausage. It is the best pizza you can get for 6.99 anywhere in this neighborhood.

Gareth surprised me and took me to this totally cool hole in the wall sort of joint that makes an amazing personal sized gluten free garlic pizza for a very reasonable price. The people here are super and chill. Strong wifi signal.

It’s easy to pass this pizza place by without noticing. Next time, STOP and get some pizza & garlic knots. Open late, fast service and great pizza. No ‘by the slice’ but they have 6.99 personal pizza with up to 4 toppings! This is my late night go-to.

My boyfriend and I came here last night around 11PM after the arcade. We were just craving some good pizza and beer. It’s so convenient that this place is open till midnight on a weekday! They deliver also. We’re from Seattle and this place is by far has the best pizza I’ve ever tasted! We ordered a mini carne pizza(which had pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and sausage) the crust was crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The cheese was gooey and stringy, and the meats were flavorful. Service was quick and friendly, I will totally come back the next time I’m in Portland! The place is a little small, but clean and tidy. Seriously, if you’re craving pizza and beer, this place should be your go to! Not only are they open super late, they also deliver! Mouth is watering just thinking about their pizza.

Eat pizza has been my go-to for gluten free pizza over the last year and i have never once been disappointed. The pizza is always on point, price is insanely good, and service makes you feel like you are in some special homie-hookup club. Sure the biz has changed a bit(mostly they stopped giving things out for free all the time) but it makes sense. i mean — you have to keep the lights on somehow. I always recommend this spot to my friends that come through town and proclaim it to the general Unilocal world as an authentic, worthwhile, and satisfaction guaranteed stop.

I have been ordering delivery from Eat Pizza for several years, and it really used to be quite tasty and high quality. Not so any longer, I think. I ordered a Turkey BLT, caesar salad(with extra dressing), small cheese bread, and a coke. Pretty standard order which I’ve ordered many times. The delivery usually takes about 30 minutes to arrive, rarely less than 40. Today, after nearly 1hr 15min, I called and asked about my order. I was told that I had ordered right at «shift change» and that my order was sitting on the counter«ready to go out» and that the delivery guy would be leaving right then. To his credit, my order arrived within 15 minutes. BUT, the order was awful. The sandwich used some variation of «Oscar Meyer»(or something similar) turkey loaf, not the turkey breast I used to expect from this place, and there were 2TINY pieces of bacon on the sandwich. In the past, the sandwiches were piled high with turkey breast, bacon and lettuce. Not today. The cheese bread was cold… like it had been sitting on the counter for some time… which evidently it was per the manager on the phone. The sandwich was cold as well. The salad though, was lukewarm… again, probably from sitting on the counter. Plus, the extra caesar dressing I asked for was not there. Argh. They did get the coke right, though. I wouldn’t be writing this if it weren’t the second time that this almost exact situation has happened. I don’t know if there has been a change in owners, or managers, or if they have just stopped caring. But when I called about my concerns, all the manager would say(yell) was that HE didn’t make the order, it was just sitting on the counter when he showed up for work a few minutes earlier. He wouldn’t even address the quality or temperature issues. I asked to speak to the owner and I was told that he didn’t know how to get a hold of the owner as he/she is always moving and could not be «pinned down». What? …are they on the run from Empire? I used to order from Eat Pizza all the time, but the quality has steadily decreased. Now with this awful order(that was similar to a previously awful order), I think I might be done.

$ 6.99 for a personal size, vegan(Daiya mozzarella) pizza with unlimited toppings! The price cannot be beat anywhere I’ve been in Portland and surrounding areas.(It’s only $ 5.99 for you animal eating, dairy cheese fans) The place is super small but awesome street views — if you’re into people watching downtown this place is perfect! My only negative comment is that you have to walk by the prep area/kitchen to use the restroom which there is only one. I could have spit on my pizza while the guy was making it as I walked by… which makes me question cleanliness and sanitation. Yikes! Otherwise, I’m definitely going back again. Eat Pizza!‘s tasty, crunchy yet not thin crust and low price will be calling my name real soon.

$ 5.99 for a freshly made pizza at 11:30PM? YESPLEASE! Stopped by this place after a night out of walking & lots of drinking, I was ecstatic that it was on the way back to where we were staying. Located on a corner, it’s a little pizza shop with a cute sign next to a bar. The service was great, the guys in the shop definitely made us feel welcome and did not seem to mind that we walked in 30 minutes before closing! There were a few other tenants in there and a few people also walked in after us. Ordered the Supremo — delicious. Perfect amount of toppings and it filled my pizza cravings. Mini is the perfect size to share as a midnight snack. You do not fill super guilty about it afterward. Yes, come Eat Pizza!

I could taste how good their pizza was just by their service from the start. Compact joint on the corner so I was glad there weren’t too many people in there, but it also made me feel comfortable talking with the two guys working and dealing with my overly complicated mini pizza order. Awesome guys, great pizza. And have to thank one who’s name was Wahim I believe.(Probably butchered it sorry) Came here for a cheat day, got gluten free crust and they were able to do half and half on a mini. And even if with my complicated order they still thanked me for my patience. The kind of service you appreciate when also being in the service industry. Everything everyone else was ordering looked so good I can’t wait to come back. AND they remade a pizza for the customer before because there was a slight error that even the customer asked what it even was, but they made another because they didn’t want her to walk away with a pizza they weren’t proud of. Eat pizza at Eat Pizza.
