So I put down a 40 dollar deposit for an appointment and when I arrived to the appointment on time, the tattoo artist who had been scheduled to tattoo me came out and told me that he was actually in the middle of doing a tattoo on someone else… He said that I could walk around the mall or get something to eat and that finishing the tattoo would take him 30 – 40 minutes. I mean what the hell? That’s not what professionals do. You make an appointment at a place and it’s reserved… So I waited 40 minutes, and then I went back, and still had to wait an additional 30 minutes for him to finish the persons tattoo and for the lady at the desk to get the paperwork ready… Finally after an hour past the original appointment time, my friend and I got in there and I was really nervous to trust him tattooing me. And he didn’t even wait to really hear what I wanted and I had to stop him after he started to tell him what I wanted, because I wanted touch ups but also wanted a few strokes added to one of them and when showed him he put them in the wrong spot! So i had to make sure I guided him the whole time since he didn’t give a shit about listening to what i wanted. And he was bad at the tattoo work itself. The needles in the gun were frayed and my finger tattoos now look like they were done with a felt tip marker. I’m going to have to get them touched up again… He did such a bad job. There are so many better places in Portland, this place doesn’t hold itself to a standard of quality at all. The tattooists name was Cody and he was so unprofessional, he shouldn’t be doing this at all.

Wow. I have no words. I have never been so scared of a piercing place. The amount of health code violations this place boasts is INSANE. My coworker and I needed to get nude fillers for our nose rings for a new rule at our jobs about visible body jewelry. We called around and this place was the closest to us and we needed these in a hurry. Upon arrival we both felt uncomfortable. The place just looked run down and sketchy. The man at the front desk kept sneezing into his hands and not washing them, and didn’t know anything about the products. After 20 minutes of waiting we finally saw the piercer. The piercing tools were just laying out on the counter. Whilst looking at the jewelry on our nose he wasn’t sure how to get them out, or what kind of pieces they were. He picked up the first of MANY instruments and casually dipped it in a bucket of what I suppose what some sort of cleaner? Then attempted to go and take our jewelry out. He continued to fail at this and kept being unsure of what to do and what tool to use. My heart was racing because I knew how unsanitary this entire thing was and how unprofessional. By the time he gets to my friend she’s almost hyperventilating because he’s pulling out bigger and bigger tools and just yanking away as if he’s never done this before. I can’t stress enough how unsanitary this was. My friend proceeds to pass out because of the unnecessary pain he caused. I am no piercer but having been to very professional studios before this, I knew this place was not up to code. Man, do not go here. You could go to Black Hole for about the same price and be helped by professionals who know what they’re doing. I’ve never ever ever been so shocked by a business. Wish I could give it no stars.

Came in to get a closed up piercing redone. They took me in right away and explained to me the hole wasn’t fully closed. Quick hollow needle to get a labret back through and out I went. They did not charge me for the piercing, only the hardware, and were super lax and friendly about everything. It was kind of hard to find the location in the mall, but I am not from the area.

My service was good, it was definitely over priced for the small piece that I got. Now that it has healed, I’m very upset with the tattoo. It doesn’t look right. There is not one straight line in it. Now I will have to go somewhere else and pay more money to get it fixed. The reason I went was because I checked Unilocal and saw they had good reviews.

My roommates daughter wanted to get her nose pierced for her 16th birthday, so we asked around amongst our friends, family and co-workers, and this place was recommended. There was only one person working when we arrived, so he did the piercing(wish that I could remember his name). My roommate was a little nervous at first, because the guy said he mostly does tattoos. But, he put the daughter at ease and she was VERY happy with the outcome(see pic posted). She said that it didn’t hurt at all and that the piercer had made jokes to distract her from the process, because she was so nervous about getting her nose pierced. It was a quick, easy and pleasant experience. Their prices for jewelry and services are reasonable. The only«complaint» we had was the lack of body jewelry choices. While I was waiting in the lobby for my friend and his daughter, I thought that I would buy a new nose ring for myself, but they barely had anything to choose from. I was extremely disappointed about that.

My partner and I came in on a Friday morning with custom designs for tattoos, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We were inked by Alex, who did an amazing job, adding shading and color to the designs and offering a pleasant, painless experience. It was quick and the price was a very pleasant surprise. Both of us now have body art that we just adore. Thanks, Alex and Euphoria — you rock!
