I was very happy with the service here. The person that helped me was very knowledgeable and took her time to explain the details of what my benefits covered so that I can utilize my benefits the best way that I can.

Sat on my glasses on accident so ran on over here to get them adjusted! Quick and friendly service with a cute atmosphere. Come for an eye check up then run over to Matador for a drink!

The staff is friendly, the doctor are knowledgable, and everyone actually cares about the health of my eyes. Had a great experience and everything was explained in a way that I could understand. The selection of eyewear is amazing and reasonably priced.

I have been going to Costco for a while now for all my eye care needs but decided to try something different and new. After doing some looking around on Unilocal,I passed by EyeQ with great reviews and thought I’d give them a visit.
The entire staff (receptionist, optometrist and optician) were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The eye exam was very thorough and didn’t feel rushed, Dr. Thuy did an excellent job about explaining her findings.
I ended up with a new pair of glasses, which were hard to choose because they’ve got a great selection of frames. The staff was great about giving recommendations and honest feedback on how the frames suited my face.
Great experience, definitely recommend!

Dr. Thuy is the best optometrist I’ve ever had. I have the world’s most difficult eyes and I swear she’s the only one that can help get them feeling better. She’s so kind, warm, friendly and knowledgable. You really feel important and taken care of here.
I don’t feel like I’m stepping into some cold medical office. The place is beautiful and decorated so wonderfully. It’s not trying too hard to be trendy and hipster. Barf. It’s just a wonderful place to walk into. Even though the the décor is swanky and the place feels very expensive, it’s not outrageous at all for prices. They take my insurance and the prices are good for all eye care needs. The staff is super friendly as well. Everyone that I’ve met that works there is super helpful and is genuine and wants you there.
I’m so glad they’re open and I finally have an optometrist I can trust and feel comfortable with. I was lucky enough to be able to make their grand opening event for customers and it was awesome. Yummy food and drinks and fun raffles and photobooth, it was a well thought out event. Thanks so much EyeQ!

I’ve bought my 3^rd pair of opticals with dr. Thuy and even though I have moved to Seattle, i will still come back to get new glasses with her.

Flew into Portland tonight and put our name down at Screen Door for dinner. While waiting and wondering around the area, we stumbled upon EyeQ’s grand opening. Perfect start to our trip! It was super fun trying on all the different unique designs and talking to the staff members. Great business in the making!

Visited Eye Q on their grand opening, and I loved the industrial modern décor of the place. In addition they have great customer service and make the whole experience fun. The optometrists are very friendly and accommodating. They have a great selection of brands to choose from. Highly recommend!

Great office with friendly staff and great eyewear selection! I got my eyes checked by Dr Thuy and she was very knowledgable, patient with all of my questions, and very thorough with my exam. She took the time to explain my prescription and showed how they would look in daylight since they would be stronger than in the exam room. She made sure my prescription wouldn’t give me a headache in everyday wear and that I was happy with what I was getting. I’ll definitely be coming back to her for my annual eye exams! I ended up picking out two pairs of eyeglasses and the staff was very helpful in giving me my insurance benefits and a breakdown of the costs. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and I can’t wait to get my new glasses!

Visited Portland for Halloween and broke my glasses. Luckily I was able to get a new pair really quick. Really friendly staff that was down to earth and took the time to help me find what I needed. As a native Californian I don’t have much to say about Portland other than great beer and weird people. Now I can add great place to get eyeglasses with short notice. THANKS GUYS!

Dropped by EyeQ since its been a little over 3 years since my last check up. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got my eyes checked by Dr. Thuy and she was very patient and informative. She took her times examining my eyes and my prescription. I could tell she really cared and didn’t want to just give me a much higher prescription if I didn’t need it. I also ended up purchasing some new frames and they were very helpful in explaining the different type of lenses that I could get. I used to go to Lenscrafter in the mall but I thought I would try this shop out since I eat next door at Ate oh Ate all the time. This was by far a much different experience and I really enjoyed the service they provided. They also had a better selection of frames. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I came in today to get my eyes checked and get new eyeglasses. The optometrist, Dr. Thuy Nguyen did my exam. I enjoyed seeing her because she is very friendly, yet professional. The staff overall met my high expectations. The only trouble I had was finding just one eyeglass frame! There was so many to choose from. I appreciate that eyeQ provides a variety of price ranges on both sunglasses and eyeglasses. Not to mention the atmosphere of the office. It really has a Portland vibe to it, yet modern. I also liked that they offer both coffee and tea throughout the entire day. They are not pushy about purchasing anything either. Additionally, they have eyewear for babies/​kids. I will definitely come back for the impeccable services!
