Just moved to Sellwood from Chicago. So I know good food! This place is by far my favorite place in the neighborhood. I could eat here everyday the food is so flavorful! Absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to go back! Great service and friendly staff.

My husband and I were visiting Portland for the first time from LA. We had read about another breakfast place around the corner but the wait was long and we decided to look for something else nearby. Unilocal pointed us to Feastworks and we were so glad it did. There wasn’t a wait, I ordered the brioche French toast with and egg and sausage, it was delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the meal felt different, not just plain regular bacon and eggs. My husband ordered eggs, bacon and potatoes. The bacon was thick and the eggs and potatoes had real flavor. Everything tasted fresh and more interesting than a dinner but they don’t go overboard with trendy flavors.
We highly recommend it and we would definitely go back.

Good breakfast and reasonable pricing. I haven’t had their meats yet, but my roommate recommends their product. Seating is a little limited.

I haven’t had or even heard of choripan since being in South America until I stumbled upon this gem in sellwood! Choripan is grilled chorizo sausage (chori) and crusty bread (pan). It’s like a way more delicious version of a hotdog. Feastworks nailed it! Their breakfast choripan comes with two chorizo sausages, an over easy egg, chimmychurry and creamy garlic aioli on a French roll. Flavor explosion! Maybe even more delicious than the choripan I had in Peru! Apparently they were a catering co only until a year ago. They still have the catering co but also this brick and mortar. There is seating inside the small deli but I took mine to go. I can’t wait to try more from their menu!

Feastworks catered a dinner party for me. I gave them only 3 days’ notice. The meal was delicious, the portions generous (lots of leftovers for the next day!) and the price reasonable. actually, had i cooked it myself i probably would have ended up spending more.

This afternoon my Partner-​In-​Dine (PID) and I ate here for lunch. The food was good and inexpensive. Mostly because it is an all ala-​cart menu.
I had a nice sweet Italian sausage sandwich. I had to pay extra for the pan fried potatoes which, were not anything to write home about, much less on Unilocal.
The food was all quite serviceable. You order at a counter made narrow by a wall which, secludes the singular person ordering from any other part of the small place. The menu is on the wall which, you must have the ability to look up and not accidentally running into the two-​top table just below it in the front window.
You order, take a number, and seat yourself. Food is delivered to your table. You get your own water at the front of the restaurant again near the menu and crammed in two-​top area in the front window.
Staff was nice and delivered our food very timely. She also brought my taste of corned beef.
My PID had the Chorizo sandwich. She had never had chorizo before and was pleasantly surprised how much she liked it. However, since there were no sides provided she felt there was something missing from her meal. A vegetable. She went to the counter to see if they offered anything else that might not be on the menu or that she may have missed. Sure, for $ 4.00 more she could have a small salad. Her decision was to pass on that option.
The corned beef was a lean Irish style (not Jewish or Kosher style) beef. It was pretty good. Just not my personal preference. Though, I was really impressed with the large size of the taste and friendly and happy staff willingness to provide the sample.
If in the area and wanting a sweet italian sausage sandwich I might drop in. Of course, it would have to be when I could be inside while waiting to get to the order counter.

Every time I come to Feastworks I am amazed at how good everything is. Easily one of the best places to grab breakfast in Portland.

Came here one time about a year ago when I first moved to the neighborhood as we were walking by on Tacoma. Everyone behind the counter was super nice and seemed genuinely excited to have us in there. I have moved out of the neighborhood now and still make the drive at least a couple times a month to come here for breakfast.
They have THE BEST breakfast sandwiches. The egg and cheese with bacon is perfect. Especially on the awesome brioche bun. My favorite though is the breakfast ham. The pickled onions is the best finishing touch. And to top is all off, their potatoes are good, but their aioli makes them fantastic.
We have also gotten many things to grill from here. Pinwheel sausages and brats are amazing, better than Wisconsin brats I had growing up incredibly.
Come here. The staff and the food will keep you coming back.

Pork sandwich is the bomb! A little spicy but the flavor combinations are wonderful. Their chicken sausage is great on the bbq too. I don’t think you can go wrong in this place.

Someone else described the hot pork sandwich in terms of the wonderful combination of strong flavors. Spot on.
Service was friendly as well.

Had the egg platter with seasonal veggies and aioli. Eggs were a perfect over easy, enough tasty vegetables for a small army, and the side of aioli was bright and tangy. Unlimited self serve coffee that was pretty decent. Feast works itself is a strange mix of restaurant tropes. Advertising itself as a deli and catering, they offer a wide selection of house made charcuterie, which looks to be their raison d’être. Is this a funky restaurant, a visually straightforward diner?
You can decide. But the guys working there were generally friendly. Worth a go.

I had been craving Feastworks since I looked at their menu online and once I ordered I was happy to have made the stop.
The place is easy enough to find, the seating was good. There was a handy chalkboard up on the wall to help you see what was available and what I noticed immediately was everything was made to order. I watched as the cook fried my egg and cooked my house made sausage on the grill.
Word of advice, come hungry. The portions here were big enough for two small eaters. I couldn’t finish the super flavorful diced potatoes because I wanted to make sure I had room for everything else. The little pickled peppers added just the right amount heat to an already dazzling dish.

I ordered the sausage sandwich with peppers and onions. The sausage was huge and is house-​made. I expected the sandwich to come with mozzarella cheese, marinara, and green peppers like a usual sausage and peppers sandwich, but instead it was just a sausage on a grilled buttered bun with aoli, sauteed onions, and sliced jalapenos. It definitely was unexpected, and I was a little disappointed at first, but when I got into it I actually really liked the combination of the spicy jalapenos with the cool and creamy aoli. I did miss the cheese though, and I think it should have been served with fries or something as an accoutrement. The man behind the counter was very friendly and attentive. He said he made the sausage himself, I think he’s the owner.

Just finished the breakfast Choripan. Absolutely delicious and spicy. The chimichurri has zang. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. I definitely recommend coming here! They were playing Sam Cooke and other great oldies! New favorite breakfast spot!

First visit to this establishment, busy place and parking can be difficult. Had the hot Italian sandwich with grilled peppers which was very good. They also make their own sausages so I bought a few of most of them to take home to try and will review at a later time. Definitely a place that I will return to and try other selections. Also be aware that it has limited seating due to it’s small interior.

Great casual breakfast place. I had the Mild chorizo and egg sandwich served w chimichurri and creamy garlic aioli. It was simple but perfectly executed and very filling. I think breakfast sandwiches are one of my favorite foods and this is one of the best I have had in a long while. I took my parents here after a walk along the river and across the Sellwood bridge. I would do this again with future out of town guests. It’s a good way to show off the city. The shop also sells their meats made in house for you to cook with at home. All were reasonably priced. The staff were helpful in making recommendations and checked in with us frequently despite being a walk up/​pay first place this made us feel welcome.

The Choripan:
An artisanal hot dog for your grown-​ass-​woman lunch.
Ingredients include house-​made pork sausage instead of Ball Park franks, aioli and chimmichuri instead of relish and mustard, a flaky and fresh baguette instead of Costco’s Kirkland Signature, and an over-​easy egg for added effect and flavor. Also, a side of marinated olives because you’re a show-​off.
I don’t think a lot of people know that Feastworks is operating as a deli. GUESS WHAT, IT IS
There wasn’t a line to be spoken of and my food was promptly delivered to a bistro table outside in the sidewalk sun.
It’s a perfect mid-​day escape from office hell and even your routine soup & salad lunches from New Seasons.
