Let me begin by saying that I dislike writing negative reviews, because I know how hard owners, managers, supervisors and staff work to ensure the customers are attended to and receive the best service. Also this review is not meant to get anyone in trouble, but for management to possibly retrain staff or look into other ways to ensure the following does not reoccur. Now onto my review. Like I mentioned above, I dislike writing negative reviews and if you scroll through my reviews they’re positive, but I showed up at 7:45pm on Tuesday(1÷12÷16) and politely asked the young lady working there if they were still open? She looked at the time on the counter iPad, and replied«YES, WE’REOPEN». I was amped to try a freshly pressed juice(Vampiro) that i’ve heard so much about and I proceeded to order one, when she smiles and says«I’m sorry, I can no longer make that juice as I just finished cleaning the machines that are drying back there». Now I’m not gonna lie, but I was pissed bc she had 15 minutes left on the clock and it was clear she wanted to leave at 8pm(I’m assuming that’s when they closed) with no regard for the business this place was about to lose now and in the future! Now I did not see any hours posted on their door, and if they were posted, they were not visible. I also checked Unilocal for their hours and they’re also not listed. Fruit Box, with all do respect, seems like you guys have something different and healthy in that area and you need to tap into that and establish yourselves like your nearby counterparts Canteen & Kure. Best wishes!

I grew up in the Bay Area and always loved Mexican refreshments and snacks. Finally there’s a place near by for me to satisfy my cravings! Mangoniadas and tosti locos are bomb!

One of a few stores in the Mercado, they offer a variety of sweet treats. Being hot and thirsty while I waited for my cat to get groomed at happy cats I wanted something to cool off with and this place offers just that. I happily chugged some horchata and snarfed down some strawberries with whipped cream. There’s a bit much cream for me but the berries were fresh and sweet on their own! Definitely recommend checking this place out. There’s a variety of Latino themed food trucks nearby as well.
