Gallagher auto spa is amazing! Scott and his staff are flexible, accommodating and have great competitive prices. I brought my car in for a basic detail, after letting my muddy dogs take a ride in the back seat. Scott’s team detailed the entire interior flawlessly, and it was only $ 40! I won’t hesitate to bring my car back here again!

Scott was great. He helped my wife out with her «small» side swipe incident while parking downtown. We were in and out and the paint was restored back to it original state. We’ll definitely be coming back to get both our vehicles detailed. Customer service was A++.

Scott (the owner) and his guys will take care of you. They pay attention to detail inside and out. Brought my VW Passat there, and after 4 – 5 hours… She came out looking BRAND NEW again. And the price is pretty reasonable for the amount of work that they do. Will never take my cars anywhere else.

This is literally the only place I’ll go anymore for detailing. Not only are they great at what they do, but the service far outweighs what I’ve gotten anywhere else. As some of the other reviewers have said, they pick up my car while I’m at work, home or even away on business, and always return it looking and smelling great. I’m the guy who pays more for great customer service, but this place actually does great work at good prices on top of their service. Shop elsewhere at your own risk.

These guys did a very thorough job cleaning my car both inside and out. Brought it in after breaking up with someone who drove it more than I did and close to trashed it. I asked for the «exorcism package» and GAS delivered. The few items I had left in the glove box were neatly placed in a zip lock bag in the driver side door pocket, when I picked it up. Definitely on my annual To Do list from now on.

Gallagher Auto Spa is the best! They are close to where I work, but that doesn’t matter, since Scott will come to your home or business, pick up your car and deliver it by the end of the day to you sparkling and almost brand new! He and his crew do very detailed work and they are easy to work with. They can fit you in with ease and they do a great job in detailing your car. I highly recommend Scott and his team.

Scott is a true professional. Can’t wait to post my before and after pictures. I recommend him to all my friends and will continue to do so!

So Scott the owner is as nice as everyone says he is. We discussed my bad experience over the phone and then I went down and met the guy. We were able to talk about what I had expected and he was very understanding. He was also not in the shop when I had my work done originally and explained that he is normally in charge of the quality control. It’s good to know that there are still honest business owners out there. Thanks Scott!
The car going in was pretty clean, I just wanted it shampooed and the crevices cleaned out and dog hair removed. When I got the car back 6 hours later, the tracks to the front seats were still gunked up and the holes where the seat belts come out were still covered with dirt and dog hair. Looking over the whole car there were places they just didn’t go over or bother to wipe down. This was really upsetting and not what I had expected.

Scott at Gallagher was awesome! Our car just came off a 2000 mile road trip and it was a disaster. After he got done with it it looked like new. Thank you.

I was absolutely impressed with the quality of work and the customer service. Scott was thorough with me during the review of work. There was even a miscommunication with them detailing the exterior as well, but the price stayed at the original quote from the morning conversation. I will be using their service from here on out.

I too was surprised by all the 5 star reviews. I took it in for a wash plus and basic interior and was surprised that something basic like wiping down the windows wasn’t included for $ 125. But I can’t fault them for that, my misunderstanding on the services I bought. BUT what I can fault them for was the lack of attention to detail inside and out. While the major parts were cleaned, I had to have the front bumper re-​done and it still wasn’t 100%. They also ignored the roof, the cup holders, etc, it was far from a thorough cleaning as advertised. I feel like every time I get in the car I find a new spot that just wasn’t done well. I would save the $$ and do it yourself for a fraction of the cost, or look for somewhere that really knocks it out of the park at this price point.

Another very satisfied customer. Called on a Thursday and got an appt for an interior detail the following Monday. Scott picked up my ford explorer from work and had it detailed and back to me within 6 hrs.(the fact that they are willing to pick up your vehicle and drop it off when they are done is a very good business tactic) I bought the Explorer used from Ford and the interior was pretty dirty. Leather was stained and the carpets and floor mats were pretty gross as well. The inside looks virtually new now. The leather looks perfect and the carpet and floor mats are super clean. Certain spots I didn’t expect them to get, they got. Very very pleased. Will definitely use them when I’m ready for an exterior detail. 100% recommended.

I found Gallagher Auto Spa on Unilocal and the reviews were indeed spot on. I took my SUV in to for exterior detailing. Not only did they do an excellent job, but they dropped me off at the location of my choice until they were done. They did the detailing in a timely manner and my car looked brand new when they were done. I took my poor car back a second time when I backed into my friend’s rear view mirror. Again, they fixed the dent and I couldn’t even tell that I had abused my poor car. They gave me a decent deal and I am now a loyal customer.

Wow. This company is amazing! Scott Gallagher and his team make customer service a top priority by making sure your vehicle leaves in mint condition. And if you’re a busy professional like I am, they’ll even come to you. Someone on the team will drive to your workplace, pick up your car and detail it, then return your car to you at the end of the day. That’s amazing service. Hands down, they are the best auto detailing company in Portland. They even clean engines.

The attention to detail at Gallagher Auto Spa is unmatched. I have taken 2 different cars to Gallaghers and each time I receive it back, it looks and feels brand new. I love how clean my interior looks after scott and his crew get it back to me. If you want just a car wash and wax, an interior detail, or a complete clean, Gallagher Auto Spa is the place to go.

Scott and Brett were not only true to their word, but suggested amendments to what was agreed upon after closer visual inspection and came up with cheaper alternates to the agreed upon work. They were courteous and professional.
I have another car that’s highly specialized that we chatted about briefly and they were anxious to get it in and get to work on it as well as knowledgeable about it’s specific needs.

Though I’m not an expert in auto detailing, I’ve been around the block enough to know when I’ve had an outstanding experience. Scott and Brett were helpful, professional, and genuine in every interaction from start to finish, and both the interior and exterior detailing jobs on my car left it looking fantastic. The wheel guy they use also did an amazing job disappearing the bad curb rash I had on a front rim– for a good $ 30 less than the dedicated wheel repair services charge. And prices all around were reasonable. From what I understand, the synthetic wax product they use lasts longer than traditional waxing, too, which means that my car will have 4 – 6 months of good protection from the Oregon elements. Thanks, guys!

Our car had driven from Chicago to New York, from New York clear across the freakjng country to California, and from California to Portland. And THEN from Portland to Chicago, Chicago to the Twin Cities and then, finally, back to Portland. There was dirt. Leaves. Weird encrustations that were there when we bought the car (used). Considering all the miles it covered, it’s a wonder there wasn’t a nest of pigeons and a couple of homeless guys in it. And Scott and his team at Gallagher Auto Spa took the car, waved their magic wands over it (I didn’t actually witness this part and am extrapolating) and gave back to me a Roosevelt-​dime-​shiny car, with clean, soft upholstery, a newly revitalized instrument panel and a much better smell. (Ever drive a cat halfway across the country? We have. They don’t like it.) If you want to restore that new car smell, along with that new car feel, take it to Scott.

We did a pre-​sale detail on our car. It was amazing. The car looked nearly new when it was done and its 6 years old. Their rates are very competitive and it was easy getting an appointment. They also completed car on time.

Five stars for service, quality, and value. I brought my 2010 Prius here after a long camping trip — and three years of wear and tear — and my car looks as good as new! Scott even went the extra mile and picked me up at work, washed the exterior, and removed a remnant of my temporary license sticker that I hadn’t been able to address. Scott cares about the details.
If you’re not sure whether to spend the money on detailing — do it! Scott’s pricing is very affordable. I don’t like to spend a lot of money cleaning my car, but I will return for exterior washes and another detail when my car needs it. Money well spent!
